PrintLast week, we asked folks on Twitter what their favorite sports betting applications were. The responses were varied and limited, since there are very few apps available on the market.
Nonetheless, the following four apps seem to be well-liked and could be useful for you.

BET BUD (For Android)
Price: FREE
This a great application for sports bettors, considering it’s the only one that performs advanced calculations on win/loss probabilities in real time. All game statistics are uploaded quickly — minute by minute — which is faster than your average game tracker, like ESPN or CBS.
Key feature(s): Tracks bets live with up-to-date statistics. Ability to create sports betting leagues. Can view team schedules. Allows you to track all bet history. Can export completed picks into a Google Doc spreadsheet or post to Twitter.
iODDS (For iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad)
Price: FREE
iOdds has been featured in the New York Times as one of the best apps for sports betting. It’s one of the easiest apps to use and its simplicity is what makes it great for new or recreational bettors looking to keep track of their wagers.
The app covers men’s and women’s professional basketball, college basketball, baseball, hockey, soccer, NFL and college football. Previously, iOdds covered just about every sport, except boxing and UFC. Now, with its updated version (3.1.1), it covers fighting, as well as all other major U.S. sports.
iOdds provides information for previous, current and upcoming games.
Key feature(s): Instant odds updated every few minutes. Live in-game scoring. Spreads, totals, moneylines, runlines and pucklines.
SCORES & ODDS (For iPhone)
Price: FREE
The Scores and Odds app is very similar to the Scores and Odds Web site. It allows you to track specific games and keep up to date on spreads.
It also allows you to check out previous games and future games, although lines for the future games are typically not available until game day.
Key feature(s): Offers betting trends to show you where the ‘smart’ money is going. Personalized ‘My Games’ page that allows you to track specific games. Live updates on line movement and scores.
ULTIMATE BET PRO (For iPhone, iTouch and iPad)
Price: $3.99
Ultimate Bet Pro offers a way to track parlays, in addition to straight bets and confidence plays.
This app has just about everything you need. It offers live updates on statistics, scores, injuries, weather reports and line movements. In addition to the live updates, Ultimate Bet Pro also gives ‘expert’ tips on upcoming games.
Key feature(s): Lists trends for upcoming match ups. Offers live NHL for an additional $1.99. Picks made weeks ago can be input into the app and they’ll be calculated with no problem.
