It never hurts to plan ahead.
Every week, the LVH SuperBook in Las Vegas releases “look-ahead” point spreads before the current week’s games have been played.
Some notable Week 9 nuggets:
- The Saints are 2-point favorites over the Eagles, and incredibly, a win could possibly put them at .500 after a disastrous 0-4 start. While it’s unlikely the Saints will catch Atlanta in the NFC South, they could easily contend for a Wild Card over the final eight weeks of the season.
- The Texans are one of four teams with 5-2 ATS marks, but they’ll be laying the second-highest amount of points when they take on the Bills. Houston is 3-1 ATS at home, but the loss was an ugly 42-24 defeat against the Packers as 4-point favorites.
- Four road teams are favored, including the Broncos, who are listed as 4-point favorites against struggling Cincinnati. Elsewhere, the Dolphins are a 2.5-point favorite at Indianapolis, which qualifies as a mild surprise.
- It seems like just yesterday that the Cardinals were 4-0 and the talk of the league. They’ve since lost three straight, and they’ll be 10-point road underdogs against the Packers.
