It never hurts to plan ahead.
Every week, the LVH SuperBook in Las Vegas releases “look-ahead” point spreads before the current week’s games have been played.
Some notable Week 7 nuggets:
- The Texans and Ravens are two of the three best teams in the AFC (along with the Patriots), and the LVH has installed Houston as a 4.5-point home favorite in a game that has AFC playoff seeding ramifications.
- The Seahawks are a game behind the 49ers in the suddenly competitive NFC West, and they’ll have a chance to close the gap—and make a huge national statement—as 8-point underdogs at San Francisco on Thursday Night Football.
- The Vikings and Cardinals are two of the biggest surprise teams in the NFL (both at 4-1 and tied for their respective division leads), but the LVH has Minnesota power rated slightly ahead of Arizona as a 4-point home favorite.
- The Redskins-Giants point spread remains off the board because of the uncertainty surrounding Robert Griffin III’s status. If he’s out next week, don’t be surprised to see a double-digit spread.
- Four road teams are favored, and only three games have point spreads of a field goal or less.
