PrintThe third week of NFL preseason is just as meaningless as the others, but the starters are expected to play more and it’s generally considered to be as close to the real thing as possible.
Aaron Rodgers, who has played sparingly in the Packers’ first two games, is expected to play until halftime against the Bengals. As such, Green Bay is listed as 2.5-point road favorites and the total—currently at 44.5—is the highest we’ve seen of any preseason game so far.
The Falcons (-2.5 at Miami) and Lions (-1.5 at Oakland) are the two other favored road teams.
A few notables:
- Baltimore is a 7-point favorite against the Jaguars.
- Only two games (Falcons-Dolphins and Panthers-Jets) have totals listed in the 30s.
- Underdogs are 18-12-1 ATS through two weeks.
