It’s unanimous! All 16 of ESPN’s NFL experts think the Packers will win the NFC North title

August 31, 2012

When it comes to covering the NFL, few do it better than ESPN. But when it comes to predicting the outcomes of games, well, few do it worse.

On Friday, a day after the preseason ended, 16 of ESPN’s NFL experts released their predictions for the 2012-13 season. Here’s a look at some of the notables, based on a consensus:

  • Nine of 16 experts picked Green Bay to win the Super Bowl. The Packers are currently +575 favorites to win. The only other teams picked? Atlanta, Dallas, New England and Philadelphia.
  • Nine experts think Buffalo will snap its 12-year postseason drought with a trip to the playoffs as a Wild Card.
  • Based on odds, the only non-favorites picked to win their division were the Falcons and Giants.
What follows is a breakdown of ESPN’s expert picks, including updated odds for each respective category.
