The Standings are incorrect for the first person I checked, so now I'm paranoid there are others which were missed so I'm gonna have to go through them.. I was going to do an update last night, like I mentioned, but the awesomesauce of the 24-hr NCAAB took precedence so I figured I could wait til tonight.

Mr. Lucky's Best Bet Tonight

Mr. Lucky gets toasted on beer & tequila shooters.

The Reason

The reasons are multiple, really. We find lots of evidence to support this statement from recent information discovered throughout our forum here & via @kreatture's (aka Mr. Lucky) Twitter. First, it's Wednesday night, and we know Lucky has pool league this night, and his record of getting drunk in the past on this night is almost 100%. Second, we've picked up some key info through his Twitter where in the past week he has managed to secure a $2500 Visa Xmas Shopping Spree and just yesterday won an iPad from his local nightclub where he frequents (we're pretty sure this was fixed, btw), so we know things have been going pretty well lately. This should no doubt increasethe odds of Mr. Lucky not only getting drunk tonight, but also to the point of being toasted!
We've also come across some inside info that suggests Lucky was a lil stressed earlier today and was overheard talking about "wanting a beer". Rumour also has it a certain young lady may be in his presence tonight, and based on historic trends, this should also help our bet.
We feel extremely confident that tonight is not just another Wednesday Night for Mr. Lucky, so therefore will make this a Best Bet !

The next time I'm on this forum sober, I'll be changing the premise for this forum. Based on feedback, requirements will be more strict with written explanations required, much like what I just did above (altho not necessarily that detailed).

The experiment has been a failure, imo, with not a high enough % being hit for a Best Bet type wager. We're re-tool, and come out firing once again. Especially now with so many new members, we're start everyone on an even playing field.

I'm drinking now, so it won't be tonight.. but we'll improve the process soon.

KSU/Texas Under 53.5

Yes, I realize KSU has been in two nationally televised shootouts the last two weeks. It's scary to bet an under in Big 12 football, but I really like this play (even more than KSU +9). In a league where most teams air it out, these two teams prefer to pound the ground and eat clock. KSU is first nationally in time of possession and Texas is fifth. I think that's important. Heard a Mack Brown quote this week that he'll want to win the time of possession battle.

Also, both these schools have decent defenses. Texas is first in the conference and KSU is fourth. Both teams' weakness on D is through the air, but neither has a QB that is really a threat to go over 300 yards. I'd be fairly surprised if the final score is more than something like 24-20.

Both of LSU's game have gone over 128 this year...I realize they were not the best competition but LSU is averaging 80 points so far this early season and Northwestern is at 60 in their lone game..I really like the over in the game..I think its 70-63 Northwestern

3 out of last 5 times Va Tech and its opponent have scored well over 47.5 together (one of the games was 3 pts off) and UNC has had 3 of the last 4 games go over 47.5 as well...think on a primetime thursday night both teams going to light it up....
