I'm not as impressed by the talent at the U as everyone on tv seems to be. Even with all that talent they haven't played like a great team in recent years. The coaching change was said to fix some of that, but now the new coach is dealing with issues from before he was hired and had no idea about. Among those issues are losing 8 players for tonight, including the QB he picked to be the starter and a leader on the defense. The depth at Miami just isn't there like it used to be. Now they have to play on the road at Maryland which has a very good returning QB, along with many other returning starters. The Terps are also a good home team and I expct them to win with relative ease as they creat alot of turnovers from the Miami offense. I'm laying the four points.

Connecticut-Atlanta UNDER 166

Why? These teams have played 3 times already this season. The finals of those games have resulted in 191, 182, and 183. The totals on those games were as follows, 162, 164, and 165.5. All 3 games have gone WAY over the posted totals, yet Vegas sets the opening total at 164 for tonight's game. The action has been all on the OVER with 90% of tickets on it. That has forced a 2-point line move, but created more value for us contrarians. This is what I like to call "Respect the oddsmaker" type of play. Good luck everyone!

With the opening week of NCAAF just behind us, Week 2 odds furiously changing and books trying to keep up, & Week 1 NFL opening odds in play, I can't imagine the WNBA would have very sharp lines right now.. Wish you luck in your play, but based on the situation I'd have to lay it on the Over, once again. This seems like a "lazy" line.

Not so much of a lazy line, more like a trap line. If it looks too easy, it probably is.
