Nadal in serious trouble at Wimbledon... Was an 87.5 to 1 favorite to win prematch on 5Dimes.

RE: Wimbledon
Wow. Nadal got destroyed in that 5th. The roof closing was huge. Rosol was on the ropes and if they play right there I think Nadal pulls it out. That break got him back into it and he started going for it. The only way to beat the Nadal and Djokovic right now is to hit the ball as hard as possible and just go for it. It was the way Del Potro beat Federer in 2009 and the only way to win against the big guns now.
Brian Baker is worth a look in the bottom half of this draw now. Del Potro, Roddick, Ferrer, and Murray are all in one quarter. The way he plays on this surface could get him to the quarters against Tsonga. Fish IMO is way too rusty to pull one out against Tsonga. By the way. Federer's quarterfinal streak of 32 in a row looks that much more impressive. 8 straight years of not having a bad day in the first week. Outstanding. ![]()

RE: Wimbledon
Unbelievable. Never would have thought this was possible. I'm sure some bankrolls were busted today.
With Nadal done, who wins the bottom half of the draw? Federer and Djokovic meet in the semifinals on the top. Does this clear a path for Murray to the final? Tsonga? Anyone have a long shot to make it? |

RE: Wimbledon
Anyone watch that Federer match today? I looked online when he was down 2 sets to 1 thinking he'd be plus money to come back and win, and he was still -350 for the match! That was almost enough for me to take a stab with the other guy, but luckily I stayed away.

RE: Wimbledon
Ferrer-Roddick tomorrow should be fun. Watch out for American Brian Baker... back from injury. Made a final of a tourney right before the French... and now's he in 3rd Round of Wimbledon with favorable draw.

RE: Wimbledon
Anyone have any plays today? Was looking at Roddick +4.5 games against Ferrer. Think he can win at least one set and keep it competitive. Probably won't take a stab at it unless I get some positive feedback, though. Most because I know very little about tennis. Probably got drawn to the match because of the familiar name.
