What's the most impressive sports performance you've witnessed in person?
Mine might not be considered "impressive" by a lot of people, but I was fortunate enough to attend a Bulls playoff game when Jordan was there. We had great tickets, about 15-20 rows behind one of the baskets. It was in 1998 and they were leading the Glen Rice version of the Hornets 3-1 in the series, IIRC.
Anyway, the Bulls won the game fairly handily, and I remember thinking after the game, "Man, that was a ton of fun. But it's too bad Jordan didn't have that great of a game." Turns out, he scored 33 points. It was the quietest 33 points I've ever seen. Or will ever see. I'll never forget it. Gave me an appreciation for just how dominant Jordan was.

it was in the spring of 1993, final season of baseball in Cleveland Municpal Stadium and the Rangers were in town. Tommy Kramer was on the hill for the Tribe and he threw a 1 hitter. The lone hit was a homerun off the bat of Julio Franco. But the highlight was obviously the faithful Julio fan from his Cleveland days still in the stands yelling JUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUULIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Skating will remember him for sure. twitter: @vegasobie |

Of course I remember Julio Franco.
Gonna be pretty hard for somebody to out-do Ervin Santana's 2011 no hitter that I was at the game for. Follow me: @skatingtripods |
