Wednesday MLB
BOL openers are up. Any thoughts?

I went ahead and pulled the trigger with the Padres +120 and Cardinals +120.

The Dodgers are obviously going to take a hit with Kemp on the DL, especially against left handed pitching. Richard has been inconsistent lately but I think this is a good spot for him to get things back on track.

Also like the Cardinals. Think the best thing for them to do right now is get out of St. Louis. Like their current lineup more than the Giants as well.

RE: Wednesday MLB
Pirates TT under when it comes out..

Pitt offense is horrid right now and Gio is pitching as good as anyone.. Also Pitt is putrid vs LHP.

Should be push or win bet.. I expect Pitt to score no more than 1..

RE: Wednesday MLB
My picks today are the Mets (love Johan vs Leake), Giants (Garcia struggles on road, Bum is a very good pitcher who is awesome at home), Astros (great odds, Norris is a superior pitcher to Wolf), and the under in Nats/Pirates (weak offenses, good pitchers).

Capuano has looked great. Do I think he continues his current level of success? No. I don't necessarily think he's going to have a huge drop off though.

If you're a believer in Sabermaetrics, it also shows he is due for a little bit of a regression. He has an FIP of 3.46, a xFIP of 3.95 and a SIERA of 3.76. He also has a BABIP of .224, which is 9th best in the Majors.

However, we've seen what pitching for a West Coast team can do for a pitcher's career. He has a very good defense behind him and looks like he's comfortable with how he's throwing so who knows.

Here's one stat that doesn't really have too much relevance but is interesting none the least....

This is the 2nd time that Capuano has started (5-0) in his career. The last time was 2007, where he finished the season (5-12).
