Missouri St has already shown it can beat the best teams in the MVC with a win vs Creighton. While I believe Wichita St is the best team in the MVC, I do not think they should be favoured as high as 5 points here.

I could look to buy out at halftime, but I like Missouri St to even win this one here so I took the points for sure.

My sentiments exactly. Missouri State has no problem playing and beating anyone in the MVC especially on their home court in a huge rivalry game.

RE: Wednesday College Hoops
First time poster. Long time reader. Been lurking for a couple months. Love everything about this site and forum so I figured I would start chiming in. I'll hang up and listen. I know I'm leaving this late so from now on I'll try to get this up earlier

Georgetown/Uconn O/U 131

Georgetown is setting up as a fade team for me for the foreseable future, but UConn is all out of sorts with Boatright back that I don't see value in the number right now. Lamb never gets the ball in the right spot and Boatright refuses to pass which makes it hard to play those guys.

As for the total.

UConn is 21st in Adjusted Offensive Efficiency while Georgetown is 51st. GTowns's adjusted defense is 16, but Uconn's is a sagging 82nd. Georgetown should be able to get whatever they want tonight due to the inexperience and agressiveness of Napier and Boatright. Conversely Georgetown is a below average rebounding team while Uconn boasts all kinds of size with Drummond and Oriakhi.

Also Georgetown loves to foul late no matter the score. Against Pitt they were fouling down 11 with 2 minutes to go and covered the 129 with 19 total points in the last 2 minutes.

If you're a trend person the total has gone over tonight's posted total of 131 7 out of the last 10 times including the last 5 in a row.

Like the over tonight. It'll be dicey but I think they get there.

Forgot to add this quote by Calhoun discussing not starting Napier and Oriakhi tonight.

""We have to push the pace," Calhoun told the Hartford Courant. "We can't win at the pace we've been playing.”

CUT THE MUSIC. What I would like to have right now is for all you UConn pigs to actually make a field goal in the second half while I disrobe for all the lovely ladies out there. HIT THE MUSIC.
