bigger card now on Wednesday but to me we are seeing some awfully tight lines. It's been like this for the last 2 weeks. you have to find your spots and look in depth.


Another game catching my eye but is NOT yet a play is Colorado St +3. I like UNLV quite a bit but they aren't great on the road and Colorado St has gotten some scalps at home.

Also this COULD possibly be a win and get in for Colorado St. This would be a huge win on the resume that is good already and if they win this one and get a couple rounds in the MWC tourney, then they could get an at large. Yes UNLV is fighting for 1st, so they will be playing hard, but being at home and potentially being the biggest game of the year should fuel the Rams.


Looking at NC State as well. Did not folllow on Johnson's suspension yet but Miami came off a huge emotional win over Florida St. They rushed the court beating a top 20 team LOL. If NC State has anything left here, they could catch Miami by suprise.

One team I haven't bet in a while is Rhode Island and I may be taking them at -6 over Fordham. The Rams showed some life getting wins over St Louis, Mass and Dayton. This isnt a good basketball team but it is their final home and they only have 2 seniors, so senior night isnt going to be anything crazy but Fordham has just been terrible on the road. They average margin of loss in conference road games is 26 points. I need to look more into this but I'm thinking URI could cruise to a double digits win here. Just need to read some coach talk about the final home game for URI

Actually think BC +1 will be a play. Both these teams are bad but BC has shown they can beat teams in their building and those teams were alot better than Georgia Tech. They lose any bit of scoring they had with Rice Jr. Not sure if his suspension is lifted yet, I haven't seen anything yet, but I like BC to grab a victory on their home floor. I don't think GT has anything to give in a road game against a bad opponent. Not much to get up for here. Just wait for the conference tourney and look to catch lightning in a bottle.

I like LSU -1 at home against Tennessee. Home teams in the SEC have been pretty solid and I'll take LSU at basically a pk.

The Colorado State game caught my eye at first glance too. It's down to 2.5 now though. I'll have to do my research on the games tonight. Marquette +2 also caught my eye but that has gone down to 1.5 now. I'll probably take that one and the ML unless I see something I really don't like tonight. I'll probably take Texas -10 too. Not a fan of Oklahoma especially on the road. Texas has looked shaky the last 2 however.

Also in the Mountain West, SDSU -2.5 on the road at last place Boise State caught my eye. I know the first game in San Diego was close, but the Aztecs were coming off a 17-point loss against Colorado State. Broncos are 0-4 in their last 4 home games ATS. Just like UNLV, big game for SDSU in the standings.

San Diego St is the biggest fraud in the country. This is not a top 40 basketball team. They surpassed Illinois once the Illini came back down to earth.

They may win this game for the simple fact that Boise St isnt that good.

dont worry about the line movements if they move half a point or something, you can not going to get anything from that. Butler moved on friday and lost. Mich St moved yesterday and lost.

The only movement I would worry about is closer to gametime is if you see the reverse line movement on heavy wagering involving namebrand teams(note: Gonzaga and namebrand mid majors included)

This one caught my eye too. Not a big fan of SDST and think they are overated, but this is too much value to pass up. Locked them in at 2.5. They seem to have gotten out of their skid with a solid win over COLST on the 25th.

Also locked in Maryland +19. Terps not as bad as their record + DUKE/UNC showdown Sunday. Expect UNC to win but thinking closer to 10-12 point win.

Locked in Maryland +18.5 as well. Maryland has played some big teams tough and this is a lookahead spot for UNC heading into the Duke game.

I will once again play Marquette. They have a solid history vs Cincinatti as well as at the Bearcats. Marquette plays hard every night and is playing for postseason position. Don't expect a letdown.

Here we go again with Marquette. Down 16 at the half and they are right now a 4.5 point second half favorite. Time to ride this train until it runs out. Marquette was AWFUL that half. I'm not sure how many times they can keep doing this, but why stop now? On the downside Cincy was terrible that half from 3 and still are up 16.

Wondering if anyone else saw how Marquette covered that second half number. Marq needed a 3 to cover the second hal, they miss a 3, Cincy just stands around let's Marquette get the ball shoot another 3, miss again, Cincy lets Marquette get the rebound again and then they make a 3 with 4 seconds to go. Unreal. It was like the end of the rookie/sophomore game.

Apparently Marquette cannot lose a second half.

yesterday calling #5 in the country to go down and now #17 to go down and the worst team in the ACC and the worst team in the Atlantic 10 to win.

Had a brutal beat on a two team teaser....hit the first leg and had Maryland +23 as the second piece. That mutha-frackin' kids 3 at the buzzer brought the house of cards down. He has some JJ Redick him for sure.
