Vegas Week 1 College Lines

Most Week 1 Games I believe are up in Vegas.

VegasInsider has lines up. BetOnline has already copied them. 5Dimes has adjusted.

There are some big eye openers. Specifically
MSU -3 (was -1 for 5 minutes) compared to -7.5 offshore and in Vegas
Tenn -3 comp to -7.5
SoCar -4.5 comp to -9.5

MSU is really shocking. Best bet of week 1.

best early lean i see is tenn -3 nc state. best bet, imo.

First, Vegas Insider isn't an actual book is it? Do they actually take bets?

Second, like Boise State whenever they're catching more than a field goal, LOVE when they're catching more than a touchdown. I know they're replacing a QB and several other offensive players, but so is Michigan State. Will wait to see how that line moves.

I believe they originated from oddsmaker companies like LVSC, who give lines to Vegas books. I think at least some Vegas books have these lines. Vegas Insider is not a book, but provides info on Vegas and offshore lines.

A possibility is BOL received the oddsmaker company lines, copied them, and vegas insider used their BOL feed to update moves. Evidence for this is BOL lines history at sbrodds shows line moves 5+ minutes before the line moves under insider lines history. MSU is already -4.5.

There's little chance BOL made these lines independently. They had MSU -7.5. 5Dimes is also a superior book that wouldn't be following lines made only by BOL.

Central Florida opened at -16.5. Now at -24 @ Akron.
