RE: Tuesday MLB
My story is that I stunk it up in basketball and then found BTB on twitter. The insights on here have really helped me in both baseball and hockey. I mainly bet on baseball now; I didn't keep track, but I've definitely won more than I lost. Going with the underdogs has given me a decent profit cause even if I lose with a favorite I still end up on the plus side. I suppose that's why we have a user named BetTheDogs, hah.

RE: Tuesday MLB
Was really hoping for a better price on the Reds today at home against Cubs/Samardzija. Can't take it at that number.

I'm on the Jays. Will also look closely at the Marlins tonight.

Anyone with an opinion on the Astros/Mets total.

Both Happ and Neise with solid FIP numbers, neither team hits lefties particularly well and a favorable umpire in Barksdale. I'm leaning towards playing the Under here but may look towards a first 5 play as both bullpens are suspect.

Didn't see you started a thread yesterday, so I had one posted earlier, but stated I like the NY / Hou #s. Niese has been great this season... Mets have some injuries which should limit run total. Only thing that worries me is that Wright has good #s vs Happ.

RE: Tuesday MLB
Also like Dodgers/Rockies total at Under 9.5. Watched Lilly pitch against the Braves the other night and he continues to be one of the most underrated pitchers in the NL. Doesn't have overwhelming stuff but knows how to use what he has. Rockies hitting just .227 against left handed pitching.

I'm not a huge fan of Chacin but the Dodgers aren't hitting the ball particularly well right now having scored 4 runs or less in 6 straight games and 3 runs or less in 5 of those 6.

Also another favorable under umpire in Everitt.

RE: Tuesday MLB
Strongly considering the Diamondbacks again. Cahill should be able to control, or at least keep the D-Backs in the game until he leaves in the 6th/7th inning. Almost consider this a "buy" spot for the stock market approach.

Took them yesterday, underdogs again today. They'll play two more games against the Nationals before moving into a three-game series with the Mets. Could profit quite a bit during this stretch. We'll see.
