Tracking Line Movement @LineProjector
Hey all,

First off, big thanks to BTB for letting me post this here.

As I continue to learn about sports betting, I find my self very intrigued with line movements between the time the line opens and the time the line closes. I think it's interesting the trends you can find, and I feel that some of the data I've pulled out of line movements has made me a more skilled bettor. Since many of you are great about sharing your tips, tricks, and info, I'm hoping to give back to the sports betting community.

I searched quite a few websites trying to find line movements. I found some that list the open and close, or maybe just the last 3 movements. I didn't find any free websites that tracked nearly every line movement, which is what I was after.

To make a long story short, I put together a website that tracks line movements at BetOnline every 15 minutes for MLB, and I will opening that up to football as the season approaches. On the website, I plan on sharing some of the data that I've collected from studying said line movements, and hopefully teaching people some of the things I've learned. Tomorrow, for example, I plan on releasing some data regarding betting dogs in MLB.

How To Read the Movements

Basically I list every line movement between the time a line opens and closes. Please refer to the image below. The top number (red highlight) for a particular game is the current number (or within 15 minutes). The bottom number (yellow highlight) for a particular game is the opening number. In between are all of the line movements in chronological order. I plan on making this easier to read in the future, but hope some of you all can take advantage of it the way it is.
