TNF: Houston at Indianapolis
Anyone have any feeling here? Not looking to make a play, but seeing that we don't have a thread under two hours before quick, just thought I'd toss one out there for anyone looking.

Texans win by 85. Short week for the Colts after their big (lol) and emotional victory. Seriously, I think the Colts come out flat. Extremely flat.
The Texans didn't show up last week and will be eager to put that behind them. On Twitter: @beyondthebets |

I agree with this 100%. I'm on Houston -6.5. Think they will win by 10+. For the record. So Money is on the Under 41. I agree with that as well. I don't think either team will score a lot and I'm fairly confident the Colts will struggle all night. And So Money said it so it must be true. Twitter:@JSpauny |

Public certainly agrees with you. ATS trends seem to favor Indy, but Houston should come out firing, I agree. The only thing that would point me towards Indy would be the fact that Houston could sit guys to alleviate the risk of any further injury. |

They are tied with Bmore at 10-4 but don't have the tiebreaker. Therefore they need to keep winning if they want the bye. Twitter:@JSpauny |

I'm gunna try it out for the last 2 weeks and see how I do. But yea, I like the teaser as well. Solid # by the way. Nice that you got it under 6. Twitter:@JSpauny |

Not only do I think it's the right play, but I also thought that public would take Houston and provide me with a middle should I change my mind. I'm considering the tease. This game seems to be the perfect situation for it. Point spread sits on a very teasable number, and I think a fade on Indy in the spot is pertinent. Just as they get their first win, I think they come out and do absolutely nothing. Let's be honest, they're a bad team. There's a reason they're 1-13. Sure Houston is banged up, but they're still a playoff team. Most injuries for both teams are on offense and I can see a 20-7 type score. Maybe Indy won't score at all. @oddsok88 |

This game lands on 3, I am not sold on TJ Yates, nor will I ever. Road game, against a divisional opponent, and with a rookie qb. Indy has covered 3 straight, I look for the trend to continue. During this streak, ten 66 yards rushing, bal 146, and ne 73. I like indy to slow the run and keep it close.

One Colts play, one Colts fumble, one Texans TD, one minute in.

Houston/Indianapolis
Let's be honest. Best case for the Texans, they let the Colts score. They aren't advancing in the playoffs with Johnson and his hammy issues and no Schaub. If they win, the Colts get Luck and they get 10 more years of 2nd/3rd place finishes.

My Rams are suddenly a win by the Vikings and a win by the Colts away from holding the most coveted #1 pick in some time.

I use emoticons all the time but can't locate the foot-in-mouth one. Colts played a heck of a game.

RE: TNF: Houston at Indianapolis
Frustrating loss here as well. I teased Boise down to 7.5 and Houston through the key number (my local still had -7) to 1, and when I checked in and saw Houston kicked the FG, I felt comfortable. Low and behold, a few good passes, a questionable roughing the passer, a facemask, an PI, a fade route wrecks all of us.
This one hurts, for sure, but at the end of the day, looking back at how I capped the game, I would pick the Colts one or two times out of ten, and for about 58 minutes and change, I was on the right side. Ya win some, ya lose some, and Houston lost this one for a lot of people. |

Trade the number #1 for more picks, there are a lot of needs on both sides of the ball for this team that I thought was going to take a step forward this year instead of 2 steps back. Wouldn't drafting Luck and trading Bradford make the most sense? If you have a chance at Luck, I don't see how you possibly pass that up. Also, remember, the Chargers drafted Philip Rivers when they already had Drew Brees. There's no rule that says you can't draft quarterbacks high close together. They're the diamond currency of the NFL.
