Just to let you guys know, Mike Rinnier died a couple years ago of a Heart Attack.. Mike was a stand up guy who taught the five Gambling legends of his office everything about how this market works. Tiger, Seal, Rooster, Baabaa and the PhillyGodfather.. I am a Mike Rinnier Legend as are the other 4 guys I just mentioned.. Mike, Billy, Spyro Cadilllac, Joe V are the founding Fathers of the WiseGuys.. You guys will learn all about how all this started in the 80s when I release my video series Behind the Shadows.. For entertainment purposes Joey m probably refers to Joey Merlino. He was godfather to the Philly/S. Jersey mob for all you non cosa nostra dudes. He has recently been released from prison and is expected to retake the South Philly mob. What's left of it.

James, maybe you shouldn't be throwing out names like that? I am sure the ex jockey would be a bit put back if he were ever to be questioned on this.

Are there any good movies/books relating to the mob and sports betting? In Philly or otherwise.

I just watched Kill the Irishman the other day about the Cleveland mob and Danny Green. While many around here say parts of the movie are fictionalized, and there's a better documentary out there, I was shocked to see that there was so much mob activity in Cleveland during the 60s and 70s. Had no idea.
