A thread name change. A little more official.

This thing is gonna get going here pretty quickly. I am going to use this thread for some updates, record keeping, to post plays etc. All plays will also be posted and tracked at ITGlife.com.

For all prospective members of the network. Anyone can join but a certain level of performance will be expected. I hope to communicate and build a relationship with you all.

While I build relationships with you a big part of this deal is to also build relationships with the people who will be following all of these picks. If you decide to join up please see it through. If you decide you do not want to continue on please do not just flake out. Shoot me an email and let me know so I can give you a graceful exit.

Also everyone who is a part of this will be required to show a certain level of respect to each other. If someone is on a bad run lets show them support. All of these picks will be free and I am sure that the bad runs will catch a little flack from people following so I want everyone involved to do the opposite and build each other up.

I will keep track of everything and help you build your credibility. If you win I will bust my ass to get your name out there.

I am going to start my contact with those who have showed interest thus far tonight.

After the mess that has been chronicled over in the other part of the forum with Covers Experts this deal is going to be a breath of fresh air.

Wouldn't it be easier to track plays with a hash-tag of some sort? If it's just a list, you get all the RT's and non-pick related shenanigans. If everyone in your group uses the same hash-tag on all the plays, someone just has to search that tag and be done with it.

If you use something like tweetdeck, you can add a column that searches the hashtag #itglife or whatever you use. The tweets with the hashtag will show up in almost real time within that column.
You can also do the same with lists.

The only down side is that anyone can use any hash tag, where a list is limited to only the people you put on it. If you could do a list + hash tag, you'd have what you want. Since anyone can use any hash tag, I could create a fake account and list awful lines under your team's tag. It's still worth exploring though. The list, as it is now, is just too much minutia.

Maybe you could create an @ITGNetwork account and share the password with everyone making picks. Then they post their picks on that account, and tag them with their real account with a cc or a hash tag. Something like:

"@ITGNetwork 4/20 NYY +100 at BetOline cc @AaronMount or #AaronMount"

First night went 7-9 and (-2.34).

Over 40 picks tonight. Hopefully it can catch up. Still feeling things out.

Still a lot of tracking to do but as far as I can tell the ITG team is 22-13 for the day.

The White Sox just won which will add some more wins.

The day ended up being 31-22 and a little over (+11.00) money wise. A strong bounce back after the 1st day.

Got some UFC and Soccer picks today.

The team went 15-46 yesterday. No that is not a typo. There were 4 games the same pick from 4+ team members and you guessed it..they all lost. Even with out those it would have been a tough day.

The trial run ends today and then its on.

At last check the Team was sitting at 25-29. It is looking like 3 out of 4 days will be losers.

I can't say that I am surprised. I have read that only 1 or 2% of sports bettors are successful long term.

I do want to say that props are due for all team members because they have all of their picks out there, posted and tracked, for anyone to see win or lose.

The end game for this deal is to find a select group of guys that are willing to stick with me and offer their picks up to be tracked as they continue a winning and profitable place.

Then we will have, as far as I know, the first spot where one can find a group of tracked and winning handicappers posting their picks without a cost.

35-33 for day one. I am pretty sure it was (+2.63)

2 guys went 3-0 and hit over (+3.00) which helped a lot.
