Rep can be given by people on the forum, most likely for an informative post, interesting concept etc.

Stars, correct me if I'm wrong, increase as your amount of posts increase (maybe it has to do with time spent on the forum as well)-- but I doubt it

You all will need to be patient. I'm in the process of moving, so I'll be sporadic over the next few days. However, here is how reputation will work going forward:

If I return and you have few if any posts, I will dock your reputation so far below zero you'll need to legitimately pick every college football game correct all season long to even have a CHANCE of returning to positive rep.

Those of you who remain active will get an automatic rep boost upon my return and I'll probably even come up with some fancy stars for you, an official title, etc. Also, and TheBrick can attest to this, I will treat you well by recommending you as an excellent follow on Twitter.

Unless I learn that you aren't one. Then I won't.

What else? Oh, right. Some of you are very proficient with emoticons and others aren't. Learn from those that are good at it and try to up your game. Some of you excel in other areas, like information providing, thread creation, and so on. That's what I'm ultimately interested in. So please, more of that.

I'm actually just making stuff up. But seriously, why do I only have two rep points?

honestly, the best advice is not to worry about your stars and reputation. just focus on putting out good information and good analysis and people will know.

The great thing about this board so far is that it has high quality guys so far that are focused on putting out good information.

Boards get watered down when it becomes a popularity contest and hey look at me, look at me.

the goal is to get the best analysis and information together so we can make the best wager and help our bank accounts out

Maybe I missed it in the "College football experts (sign in)" but are you an expert without a team, or planning on providing betting advice on teams without using their names. (e.g. Great under team with returning front 7 all on new undetectable steroid and all top 3 QBs, although still unreported, have mysteriously fallen ill in the week prior to their week 1 game)

a little background. i am from canada, so i have no affiliation with any hometown team or am alumni for any university in NCAA. I do watch a boatload of college football.

I will be an expert for a team but august has been the busiest month in along time at work and i had to cram for 2 exams, the last one being aug 31, so i havent had time to choose a team. i want to pick a team that i can watch a majority of their games because i use the "eye test" quite a bit and a team that i can easily access information. i havent had time to do that yet. i chose tennessee at first but i got the canadian tv schedule for ncaa and tenn isnt on there alot. i go get the college football package up here which gives me about 20 games on saturday. but tenn didnt work out. after wed, i can fully choose a team im devoted too. and the added benefit is i will have no homerism loll\
