I was at the tail end of a weekend road trip when a friend and I heard his free pick advert on SNR. So we said "what the hell..." and called. His pick hit that day and then I started getting hit up with calls to sign up (which I was expecting). I'd never purchased picks before, but he gave me a pretty enticing offer for the rest of CFB season for $109...so again I said "what the hell..." and did it. Since then picks have been decent at best, but they have pointed out some winners that I would never have looked at myself. Their only big play however, was a flop. Anyway, they continue to try and hard sell me on buying their other packages like its the movie Two For The Money - but I've declined. Has anybody worked with these guys long term or know anything about this handicapping service? Haven't heard of Jonathan Stone, but it sounds like he's similar to about 99.9 percent of other handicappers out there — trying to swindle people for money while being just about a coin-flip bettor.
