I wasn't a paid investigative journalist, just the role I took at the student paper in college. Did a piece which concluded that the student government did not have enough people run for elections therefore they did not have enough people to actually have a meeting which means they couldn't pass any bills approving / not approving money. Also wrote an article on the new school president and one of the caveats of her coming to the school was that the college would build her husband a special garage to house his trucks. People think politics exists in the business world, university may hold the prize. Before I started working, I was a beat reporter for the MetroStars (now New York Red Bulls). Wrote some freelance articles as well. Back to Phillips, anything that can be done to make this industry less shady, I'd be glad to help out. Follow me on Twitter: JayPrimetown |
