As a whole, the gambling industry is filled with people in the shadows and less than honest characters. There are many people just starting out and/or don't have the knowledge to know who is being honest. That is something I take to heart.

That's a reason, I believe, that people enjoy this forum and more importantly, some of the guys like BTB, Lucky, So_Money...you're just getting honesty. And that hasn't been par for the course. Same with Furhman in his position.

There's enough honesty/transparency now that it's tough to be a fraud and easier to out them, and that makes it a better experience for us honest-degenerates (not an oxymoron). Coffee

I wasn't a paid investigative journalist, just the role I took at the student paper in college. Did a piece which concluded that the student government did not have enough people run for elections therefore they did not have enough people to actually have a meeting which means they couldn't pass any bills approving / not approving money. Also wrote an article on the new school president and one of the caveats of her coming to the school was that the college would build her husband a special garage to house his trucks. People think politics exists in the business world, university may hold the prize.

Before I started working, I was a beat reporter for the MetroStars (now New York Red Bulls). Wrote some freelance articles as well.

Back to Phillips, anything that can be done to make this industry less shady, I'd be glad to help out.

I'm personally getting a "kick" out of all the "quotes" that are being "used" in this "thread." LOL

Good point..a guy with a good looking girlfriend/friend uses her likeness, gains 12k followers on twitter, and scores a job with the world wide leader. If that's not an interesting ass story I don't know what is.

Meh she seems like the type of chick that would take 2 hours to get ready...to go to Wal-Mart.

Or the type that would talk to you in a bar with dick-mouth.

Needless to say I'm not a fan...but yes I'd still smash.

Profile looks decent, although it's an odd angle (and shaky lighting). Some girls look good profile only (or vice-versa) so I'd want to see a direct shot before agreeing.

Out of curiosity, do you think you might be subconsciously elevating her hotness based on (assuming she's legit) her love of both gambling and sports? I know some (many?) of us are guilty of this with several female athletes.

shes hot but she seems like she could be a bitch

Yes, people are here, and no, covers is not a sportsbook. It's one of the highest-traffic content websites out there, with articles, message boards, databases, etc.
