Preakness Stakes thread
Who does everybody have?

So far, I've eliminated horses 9, 10 & 11.

RE: Preakness Stakes thread
This race is all chalk. I basically played exactas, trifectas and superfectas with the combo of 9,7,5 and 6. I threw it some tickets with 4 and 2 and placed small win bets for both. I don't even know if providing my analysis is worth it because this race has probably 4 solid contenders (9,7,5, and 6 imo) but really hard to say which one wins. And I think 1, 3, 10 and 11 have virtually no shot to compete in this race.

RE: Preakness Stakes thread
Why'd you eliminate the 9?

RE: Preakness Stakes thread
Probably because only two horses since 1925 have ever won out of the 9th post position.

RE: Preakness Stakes thread
I included the 9 in a couple trifectas. Have it winning in one, just in case.

RE: Preakness Stakes thread
I took Zetterholm (+2500), Daddy Nose Best (+1600), and Teeth of the Dog (+2000) to win.

Then I have (7)(8) forecast and a (6)(7)(4) tricast -- I really don't even know what that means.

GOOD LUCK!

LOL -- not sure what the 'cast' part means. I've heard triFECTA and superFECTA. Maybe that's a fancy term for those horses boxed? No clue.

Horse racing in a nutshell for me right there.

RE: Preakness Stakes thread
Can't believe there is a triple crown shot. Awesome. And I hit the exacta and trifecta. Missed the super by a hair. Had a 9/7/6/5 ticket and a 9/6/7/4 ticket.

Apologies for site crashing. Hopefully won't have too many outages going forward.

Blame Google searchers.

RE: Preakness Stakes thread
I was going to post a matchup that was easy money.. Posted on other forums but this place I couldnt get into too..

I was on creative cause -120 over the day went well.. It was a huge bet for me as the line was off by at least 40c's.. horse matchups are usually a good wager..

RE: Preakness Stakes thread
This race blew from a betting standpoint, and so did the days races. Pick 3 paid 24.60, double paid 45, exacta 18, and tri 70. Yawn.

Nice hit on the super!
