I'm with louie, I don't think you can possibly win long term at online BJ. The only way to get profitable odds long term in real life is to get ahead by counting cards. The odds are just so stacked against you on almost every play I don't see how you could beat the software without pure luck. And everyone knows pure luck doesn't last.

No, I don't think winning long term is very likely. I compare playing online blackjack to playing at a live table with a CSM. If I had to choose between playing on Bodog or at a live table with a CSM, I'd choose Bodog almost every time since they have better house rules than most casinos. If I had to choose between playing Bodog or at a live table without a CSM, I'd choose a live table every time so I can count and swing the edge my way.

I live a little over 2 hours away from a good casino for blackjack (WV is closer but awful house rules/stakes/player treatment). So if I want to do some educated gambling once in awhile, I'm ok with playing blackjack on Bodog if I'm in the mood and have the free time to do so.
