Pick your team: College football experts WANTED

Your help is wanted. <em>Again</em>.

For the second straight year, we're calling on BTB readers to volunteer as college football experts for the 2012 season. We're not asking that you know everything about every team or even every conference.

We simply need you to become an expert on <em>one </em>team.

The goal is to have one designated expert for every BCS team. From there, we will try to expand out and cover all 124 FBS schools. Each expert will be asked to contribute the following throughout the season, from beginning to end:
<ul>
<li><strong>News and information</strong>. If there's something notable written about your chosen team, either nationally or locally, provide a link or summarize the report.</li>
<li><strong>Injury updates</strong>. Tell us who is out and why (or if) it matters.</li>
<li><strong>Analysis</strong>. Provide your thoughts on the upcoming game.</li>
<li><strong>Picks</strong>. Each week, you'll be asked to make a pick against the spread on the game involving your chosen team.</li>
</ul>
Each expert's picks records will be kept throughout the season and will be tallied weekly. Standings will be posted on Tuesdays. All information will be exchanged in the forum. You can sign up <a href="http://www.beyondthebets.com/forum/member.php?action=register" target="_blank">here</a>.

Oh, last thing: The purpose of this project <em>isn't</em> necessarily to pick winners, though that'd certainly be an added bonus if you have the ability to do so. Instead, the goal is to compile and curate all relevant information in one place so that we can all be better informed.
