Ole Miss
With Houston Nutt not returning next year along with potentially the AD. How do we expect Ole Miss to finish out the rest of the season? Nutt will coach the remainder of the games.

I wonder how this will affect his players. I'm sure if wont affect the seniors as much, but for the underclassmen, Nutt recruited most of them and to be not having him next year, must mess around with the mindset of players. I am not sure how many situations there have been where it has been announced the coach will be fired after the season and still coach for the remainder 3-4 games.

I think the line shows it this week already. Lousiana Tech is a -2.5 fav over Ole Miss. LTech is a sneaky good team.

I personally like Nutt, thinks hes a good college. do think he needs a good D-coordinator behind him however.

RE: Ole Miss
Hard to spot to be. I don't think they're a play-on or fade team. Houston Nutt needs a couple good showings these last three weeks to get a decent interview. Clearly, with how bad the team is, he hasn't been able to steal many recruits from the big SEC schools and that makes a difference to major conference programs.

I don't think the players will quit playing on him, but they have three really bad matchups. Louisiana Tech is having dreams of a big, by their standards, bowl game. They played right with Houston and should have beaten them. They control their destiny in the WAC if they can beat Nevada next week. This could be a look ahead game for LA Tech, but Sonny Dykes wants that win over a SEC team, no matter who it is.

Obviously LSU is not a good matchup for them. I don't think they have enough offense to cover a big number, even if LSU rests everybody 2H to get ready for Arkansas.

Mississippi State in a rivalry game in a game MSU needs to become bowl eligible. They won't beat Bama or Ark, making them 5-6 entering the last game. Not sure if MSU would make a bowl, but they want to at least be eligible.

Only spot I might play against Miss is the MSU game. Won't play on them at all.

Just FYI, rumor is that a bunch of Ole Miss suspensions are expected to be announced soon...
