Notre Dame
Last 5 games:
Wins at home - Syracuse, Marquette Wins on road - Seton Hall, UCONN, West Virginia Still have great future odds and are now 8-3 in the Big East. Final schedule: Depaul, Rutgers, @ Nova, West Virginia, @ St. Johns, @ Georgetown, Providence The way Notre Dame is playing they should go at least 5-2 in those 7 games. Assuming they go 5-2, they finish the Big East at 13-5. That will give them a bye into the QF of the Big East Tourney, even if they lose there they will finish 21-11. They will be at worse a 6 seed and can go even higher (maybe even a 4 if they make a run in the Big East Tournament). They are still available at great odds on a future.... same price as Alabama, Cal, Cincinnati, Michigan (seems like good value too), Miss St, Purdue, Seton Hall, and St. Marys, Virginia and Wichita St. Follow me on Twitter: JayPrimetown |

RE: Notre Dame
A post on Notre Dame.
If you would have bet $100 on each of Notre Dame's last five games on the money line, you'd be up $1300-plus. Incredible run by the Irish, and doing it with defense. On Twitter: @beyondthebets |

This is a good find Jay. I am seeing ND at 200:1 on 5Dimes.

RE: Notre Dame
It's crazy that ND will be a top 6 NCAA seed, but they will be. Unreal. But I'm still unsure about them come tourney time. We've seen this before from ND. They did this same thing in 2010 when Harangody got hurt. They played the "burn" won some impressive games and then proceeded to get bounced by ODU. Last year they got rolled by FSU in round 2. I don't trust them in the tournament. At those futures it's a nice bet that you can hedge, but I'm still dubious.

I really didn't like the way ND matched up with those two teams in the tourney the last two years. If ND gets to play a more loose team that isn't as tough defensively as them then they can win a few games At 200-1 odds a sweet 16 run is all you need for hedging into profit. I think it is a good bet just need to hope that have a favorable draw in the tourney and there are a lot more teams ND matches up with well then who they don't ![]() @RusselDalton |
