KC definitely best value here. Like the bills getting 6 too.

Matt Ryan on the road = AutoFade.

Ravens -6. Dalton regresses a little in year two. Teams will adapt. Especially the Ravens. Oh, and Baltimore has the best quarterback in the league.

Pretty good number for Eagles/Browns. Tight number actually. Could go either way. Early action definitely will come on the Eagles. Think the Browns get up for that game.

I dont see any reason why you'd wanna lay more than 3 with Minnesota. Like the Jags with the hook

LOVE the Chiefs as home dogs. Really think they could be undervalued if they're healthy at the beginning of the year. Then again, my name is ChiefZilla so of course I think that.

Also kinda/sorta like the Rams with that extra hook. Think they could be in for a decent bounce-back season after so many injuries.

I agree with the value on the Chiefs, but at the same time, it's hard to take them Week 1 after the way they started the season last year...

Interesting how many spreads came out under -3. Chiefs is where I would lean as well. Last year I think the Falcons were favored by a similar number in soldier field against the Bears, and got rocked. Falcons are a soft low ceiling team. After the draft I'll get going on my NFL stuff as well.

RE: NFL Week 1 lines are out
I just updated my power ratings to include offseason moved up to this date and such.

I have the highest discrepancy with NYG, NO, Bal, Oak. The rest of the games I'm within 1.5 of the spreads listed here.

I don't get the NYG, NO and Bal spreads to begin with. NYG and Bal certainly should have 3 points purely on home field. NO should get at least 3.5 (I give them them 4). So what these lines say to me is that on a neutral field the Giants are only .5 better than the Cowboys, the Ravens are only 3 points better than the Bengals and the Saints are only 2.5 points better than the Redskins. Is anyone else not buying those numbers? The Saints situation is worrying and RG3 could be trouble, but 2.5 better than the Skins? Crazy talk.

I'll probably be betting all 3 of those now.

BTB - Agree 100%. KC looks like a very good pick.

Also Lions -1.5 and Bears -1.5 would play for a solid 2 point, 6 team teaser at -110

Coach or no coach, considering the Saints were undefeated ATS at home last season and beat opponents by about 55 points per game, I think that number is small.

That'll be a unique handicapping perspective this season though. How much is a coach truly worth? A guy like Payton seems more vital to his team's success than the average coach, too.

Now that seems like a more accurate number.

I'm not positive what my number was and I'm not home to check but it was either 11, 12 or 13. 6 is crazy.
