RE: NFL draft thread
Like Kirkpatrick +115 to be picked before Poe, although not as much as the others....

Nice work Atty. Wish you would have called me at work so I could have stole money on that Barron line.

I hit Cox under 9.5 with a big bet at -180 and it moved the spread.

I'm a bit nervous now with my Floyd bet...

At -160 on the under the Kuechly prop lost value.

Yeah, the lines are dancing. I think I posted earlier, but I never liked that Floyd bet. I will be rooting for you though.

As a Brown's fan, any problem if you guys take Blackmon? My buddy is from Cleveland, and wants him more than TRich

RE: NFL draft thread
The Jets have Trent Richardson as number one on their board. I could see them trading with Minnesota.

RE: NFL draft thread
They pulled the Glenn / Martin prop.

Atty, I love the idea of a Blackmon/Weeden combo to help speed up both of their learning curves. I'd be much happier trading back and getting Floyd / Kirkpatrick / Upshaw, but I'd pick that over Richardson as well.

I'd be happy with either JB or Richardson.

RE: NFL draft thread
That's the thing I'm torn on. Does the Weeden to Blackmon combo make up for the drop in talent from Richardson to Martin?

It's very, very close in my opinion. I'd be happy either way.

Personally I want trade downs for 2013 first rounders. We're not going to compete this year, look at our schedule. Might as well put ourselves in the best position to get Barkley/Bray/etc.

Delocated you're a Browns guy right? From everything I'm compiling in the offseason, they should have a very tough 2012. Really looking to hit the under on their win total, hoping for 5.5 Any reason why they would win 6?

RE: NFL draft thread
The only chance they hit 6 wins is if #4, #22, #37, and one other pick turn out to be Pro Bowl players, and one of them is a QB. And that might not be enough. We wouldn't hit 6 wins with Andy Dalton and AJ Green with our schedule.

Our schedule is just brutal. I'd fade the Bengals as well, and probably the Steelers as they age..

I'm not all negativity. I think in 2013 with Barkley + a nice 2012 class we can be a breakout team. But next season is a throwaway.

RE: NFL draft thread
That was one of the main reasons, love getting those tough games at the end of the schedule for a hedge if needed. Also from what I've gathered the Browns were actually lucky last year with bounces and such. Even tho I'm anti running back in the first round, Richardson is a guy who could go for 1500 yards and carry them to 6.

The other one I was looking at was the Raiders under 7.5. I am a Raider fan so there might be a reverse bias there, just feels like a snake bitten year, any injuries will expose the terrible lack of depth. The schedule is also pretty brutal.

But it's still early, just getting some ideas.

RE: NFL draft thread
By the way, I really hope I didn't sway anyone to take the Floyd under. I think I may have jumped the gun on that one.

I felt so good about it and am not too happy with it anymore.

Dre Kirkpatrick over Poe will hopefully make up for the above nervousness.

Last year we won 2 we arguably shouldn't have (Jax, Sea) and lost 2 we should have won (STL, Ari). It all evened out..

RE: NFL draft thread
Rumors are circulating that the Browns are zeroing in on Blackmon, not Richardson, at #4.

Could just be a smokescreen to prevent a team that covers Richardson from jumping them, though....

Ha, wow. If Holtzman is right, Browns now deciding between Claiborne and Richardson. Blackmon is out.

I have more confidence in people like LaCanfora, Mayock and Cabot(who actually covers the team) than a sideline reporter in Holtzman. Don't flush it away yet

Big10 bet is down to -135, I must be the only guy that bet the over. Hopefully all those lineman come off the board.

How much stock do you guys give Evan Silva of PFT and rotoworld. He's got a pretty weird mock...

3rd - Claiborne
5th - Gilmore
6th - Kalil
7th - Blackmon
