Exclamation New forum look / website look
Are you guys okay with the new white look on the forum? Dunno

Also, what about the new headline / font combo on the main page.

My eyes haven't adjusted yet, but curious if yours have or if they will. Any feedback is appreciated.

Cheers

I can't tell the difference.

SRE with some subtle racism.

RE: New forum look
I don't care for it, but I also don't like change, either. Think the original way provided better contrast and distinction.

I liked the old contrast personally, but it's not like I'm not coming back every hour regardless.

RE: New forum look
It's a cleaner look but it does take some adjustment. I noticed the change this morning or last night and didn't see a thread so I thought it was on my end...go to know it was on purpose :D

Definitely preferred the old look, but hey, I'm new here, so what does it matter what I think?

Your thoughts matter.

Message board "status" is the dumbest thing in the world. Old, new, 500 posts or 50, you're all the same in my book. Grin

The time and effort put into everything you do doesn't go unnoticed. I noticed the new font right away. Fonts are so critical. Personally, I'll close out of a page right away if a font turns me off or if a site is too cluttered. I liked the old font as well, but the new font almost seems to say "stamp of approval." It's good. I don't know if the title of your post and the content in the post have to match or not. If not, I think I preferred the old font in the content section because it seemed cleaner and easier to read. It could just be the letter spacing as well. I think the additions you have along the right side of the home page are a bit cluttered, but aren't too bad because it gives the page a more official feel. I'm def. not a fan of the recent posts addition because I can just scroll down. I'm indifferent on the categories. If I really needed to find something, I'd use the search box. The betting tools and other additional tabs at the top of the page are smooth.

Dan Gilbert is a little disappointed in your choice of fonts, but to each his own I suppose.

Thanks for the feedback, TD.

The headline font I like much more; I also like the post font more, though perhaps it could be an extra ½-point higher. I'm a font snob and there are only about four that I like.
