NBA Wednesday
Let's get this started too...

A rematch of the second round series from last year Memphis / Oklahoma City as well as San Antonio / LA Clippers. And the Knicks travel to Golden State.

Already jumped on the Knicks -3.5. G State likely without S. Curry. Who covers Carmelo Anthony? That's a very difficult matchup for this Golden State team.

LOVE the Knicks pick. I'd honestly just unload of that and sit the rest out. Who's gonna play the point? Ish Smith? Charles Jenkins? Monta? I think this line will climb before gametime...

And as for your "Who covers Carmelo Anthony?" question, I'd have to say...Brandon Rush? Haha...not really sure who else could. It'd be a matchup of two guys who look like they hit the buffet a little too much this lockout...

I'm not playing anything else, but the only other one I'd think about is SA -4.5 at home against Lob City. Seems like a classic sharp/square game, everyone and their mother is loving the Clips while talking about the "aging" Spurs (which just crushed Memphis at home).

I'd need to look into it more, but SAS seems like a potential play.

RE: NBA Wednesday
If Steph is out, really like the Knicks as well.

Also like Memphis +1 in the revenge game at home, playoff revenge has worked so far this year. Is it just me or does OKC's scoring depth look sketchy?

Also lean Nuggets against my Jazz, that was the worst executed game plan from Utah I can remember. The Nuggets are not a fun team to play on a B2B, crazy fast pace, and really deep. The back end of many B2B games this year have been blowouts. The current number -11 is slightly too high for my taste but might hit if it goes lower.

Love the Knicks -3.5 with no Curry

Also love Indy -3.5 at Toronto. Indy is one of the top 5-6 teams in the East and the Raptors stink.

Leaning under on Atl/Was 185

RE: NBA Wednesday
Any thoughts on Phoenix / Philly? Philly favored by 1.5 on the road.

Philly gave Portland a tough battle, but can they actually a win road game out west?

PS - Indiana intrigues me too. That line has moved from -3.5 to -4.

Can only imagine the Knicks line will keep going up. At least a point or 2 before tip-off. As for Carmelo, he was very impressive (as always) in their first game. Like the play, nice spot.

Doesn't sound good... would have 4 days of rest if he doesn't play today. Curry himself prefers to sit out the game against the Knicks.

-------------

Also like Boston in this spot against New Orleans. Celtics don't want to start 0-3 and have been very competitive in losses against NY and Miami despite no Paul Pierce. Boston does have a big edge at point guard with Rondo over Jack / Vazquez. Garnett holds the big advantage over Landry at PF... he's had to deal with STAT / Bosh / James these first two games. Big downgrade in competition with Landry... Garnett should have a big game here as Boston wins this one by 8.

RE: NBA Wednesday
The Cleveland/Detroit game total has a pretty indicative move toward the under. Cris opened at 189.5 and it has fallen to 187.5 11:00 eastern

A five point move in the Char\Miami game toward the over as well. Opened at 185 and at 190.

RE: NBA Wednesday
Thoughts on Celts -4 @ New Orleans now that Eric Gordon will sit out?

Two tough losses for Boston. Hornets played two days ago, while Boston played last night.

While I think Boston is the much better team I'm a little hesitant to place a wager on a team who has been giving their all and just falling short against two very good teams.
