The phillykid disappearing act continues. As a result, KePowOb is in line for the win, which is almost guarantee that Chief wins the group. However, KePow's playoff chances would be 50/50 IF Handicaper wins since he would finish 3rd and is -6.30 overall. Based on Handicaper's overall record of +0.36, he should be safe regardless and Chief is a playoff lock too but the seedings are up for grabs.

lincolnduff is in great position to finish 3-0 & at +5.24 is a playoff lock. the DOP/TPC battle determines 2nd place but DOP looks like a playoff locks at +3.76. If he loses, TPC at -3.18 is on the playoff bubble.

The winner likely grabs #6. The loser an 11 or 12 seed.

The craziest group by far. The loser of dullbettor/Jspauny is eliminated. The winner grabs 3rd IF Mount picks up the win. The winner of skating/mount is virtually guaranteed playoffs but it is not outside the realm of possibilitiy that Mount could win, go 2-1 and still be elminated!
So many things hinge on this group, it is absurd.

Hey DOP.. it doesnt matter now, but as of now, if illadelphia beats me.. we both are 2-1 (i would be -1.8 and he would be -7.99).. wouldnt i win the tiebreaker?

I just realized that head to head is the first tie breaker over total +/-? that doesnt seem right?

Shouldnt the +/- be first tiebreaker since we are already using the 'record' as seeding within the groups? using head to head next is kind of redundant no?

Especially in groups with dead owners.. the overall points should take precedence IMO.


I know in Soccer Group stages.. points are the first tiebreaker, then point differential, then h2h.

I don't mean to make things difficult and I'm cool either way... but i just wanted to bring it up.

I get where you are coming from Wally.

At this point, I think its a bit premature to worry about this. You can't put the cart before the horse and thus far my NBA picks are probably not worthy of a horse or a cart at this point. I still have 8 picks to make and while an 8-0 is my goal, past history indicates 0-8 is more likely to occur.
