NBA March 1
Thunder -1 and Heat -4.5. These seem like they're too good to be true.

Thunder are rolling and the Magic are reliant on hitting their outside shots. I feel like an athletic team such as the Thunder can disrupt that.

Heat were blowing people out before the break. LeBron and D Wade should be motivated to defeat that ASG criticism. Winning by 5 seems too low to me despite the Rose Garden effect.

Thoughts?

But then again....I know nothing.

RE: NBA March 1
I'm a bigger fan of the thunder tonight then I am on the heat. Matchup wise I think this game works well for the thunder. Perkins is a great big body to match dwight one-on-one, and the perimeter defenders should do a good job getting/staying out on the three point shooters. On the other side, I don't believe the magic have the perimeter defenders to keep the thunder guards out of the lane, and that puts a lot of pressure on dwight defensively, and I could see him getting into foul trouble.

On the heat game, I do not like betting against the trailblazers at home. I know this team heat team has been on an unstoppable run on the road, but the energy in the rose garden for a national televised game should be huge, and I think these blazers play up for this game. If anything on this game, I see a little value on the ml home dog

Not sure about the Heat, but I am loving the Thunder -1 tonight. It does seem a little too good to be true which worries me a little since I will be making a larger than normal play on it.

Scared what!? You're missing out. For bettors.. Portland is DOWN 24.87 units at home.

RE: NBA March 1
Where are you seeing that stat about Portland down 24 units at home? According to TeamRankings they are 12-6 ats at home and 6-11 ats on the road... they did have a horrible loss to the wizards, so that might be throwing there moneyline units off a bit
Portland has been home dogs twice, against the clippers and thunder, and lost both times while also failing to cover.

RE: NBA March 1
I think +8.5 is a great number to put into a 2-team 4.5pt teaser. I wasn't a fan until I got serious w/ NBA. I think this will be a close game either way. Both of Portland's losses as home dogs were wire-to-wire finishes where they could not close out the game but would have covered in a tease.

They are very very tough at home and the -24 units is 100% driven by the Washington loss which was an outlier b/c Aldridge went down 2 minutes into the game and everyone on the team shyt themselves.

Have you seen my baseball? @dogsonlyplease

Has anyone heard if K. Love will be returning to the line up tonight with the Timberwolves? If not- I like how Phoenix looks... Watched most of the Laker game last night and granted the Lakers are better team than Phoenix- TWolves looked lost without Love.

Bosh is out for Miami so that changes things against a team heavily reliant on its PF...

But then again....I know nothing.

The heat and thunder were so so easy. Anyone who said different must not be really smart
