NBA Final Day
Some news and notes for you guys to take advantage of:

NJ @ TOR -7.5

Deron Williams (calf), Kris Humphries (toe) and Gerald Wallace (hamstring) are all out on Thursday against the Raptors.

Conclusion: Line still too high perhaps?

SA -6 @ GS

Spurs resting all their big guys. GS tanking.

Conclusion: Stay away?

MIL @ BOS -9

Kevin Garnett (hip flexor) and Rajon Rondo (back) "could return to the lineup" on Thursday against the Bucks.

Conclusion: Keep an eye on this one. Boston doesn't cover if Rondo and Garnett don't play. I don't think they will.

POR @ UTAH -6

Al Jefferson and the other Utah starters could rest against the Blazers on Thursday, as they have nothing left to play for.

Conclusion: Portland could be a very good bet if Utah rests their guys, which I think they will.

RE: NBA Final Day
Left out

LA @ SAC -5

SACRAMENTO -- With the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference playoffs already locked up heading into Thursday's regular-season finale against the Sacramento Kings, the Los Angeles Lakers' coaching staff is planning to sit the team's stars and use the game as a talent evaluator for its young players.

Conclusion: Kobe will still play for the scoring title. But Kings should cover this one... I think!

RE: NBA Final Day
I've been on here for almost a month now and rarely see people make NBA tips. I'm assuming the general consensus around here is that the NBA is a sucker's bet and to stay away?

I'm taking Sacramento and Toronto. The Nets will be 8 men deep. Their best player will be Sundiata Gaines!

Staying away from Portland because they might not even beat Utah's backups. They're injured and shorthanded as well.

I'm trying to find an over/under on Kobe Bryant shot attempts tonight. If it's anything below 41.5, I'm firing on the over. LOL

We had some nice NBA threads going but near the end of the year stopped doing them. Lines were super tight, and due to the scheduling was brutal finding which teams were going to even show up. Personally I've taken to live betting and am really enjoying it.

Looking into MLs tonight. Quite a few big spreads that the dog could win outright.

RE: NBA Final Day
Think Philly has a punchers chance at +430, very deep team. Turner should play and he is much better with the ball in his hands doing everything.

Lakers might be worth a look now that the line has adjusted, and probably will over adjust +225 and rising. Don't trust the Kings to beat anyone straight up.

Bucks might also be worth a look at +420. Celtics do have a few guys healthy, but even if they play it will be very limited minutes.

Still trying to find who is all playing in all the games, but I would lean to the teams missing players due to likely over adjustment.

The last 2-3 weeks have been a nightmare capping this. Thankfully the playoffs begin.

RE: NBA Final Day
I did well betting the Raptors and Kings, but I put a few bucks on the Bucks and Sixers ML and lost. Sixers literally benched everyone and the Celts had a pretty regular lineup. I should have waited to see the lineups but the juice was sweet.
