MLB Tuesday
2-0 last night, here are my plays for today:

STL +140, U7- I know I know. Verlander is one of the best pitchers in the game and especially dominant at home. But Lance Lynn has been quietly been just as dominant. Both teams struggle as a whole, but a pitcher like Lynn should not be getting +140.

Twins -107- Fear that Diamond may start regressing, but his control has for the most part been spectacular. Correia is a dog.

Mets RL +145- Johan hasn't pitched well since the No Hitter, but he was rusty against the Yankees and his mechanics were off vs the Rays. I expect him and his 1.30 era at home to bounce back in a strong way tonight. Hunter and his 8 era on the road make me more confident about this pick.

Good luck!

RE: MLB Tuesdsy
I was looking to see if there's an edge with Baltimore following a shutout loss this season. But since they've only been scoreless in a total of three games, there's nothing to go off.

RE: MLB Tuesday
I like the value on St. Louis too. Lance Lynn has been the best pitcher on staff this year by far. This is a game they could grind out a victory.

With you on the Under in this game. Lynn is still quietly having a very good year and he has great stuff so he's not just getting lucky. Verlander is Verlander. I see this being a game that both pitchers can get into a rhythm and a low scoring game to result.

RE: MLB Tuesday
some quick thoughts on games:

LAA: Wilson has been pitching like Cy Young. He should have his way with SF's lineup that is not that great vs LHP anyway.

ARI: I think Hudson is due up. Sea's pitcher has shown no signs of being ready for the big leagues

marlins tt under: they are on a historic cold streak with the bats and buchholz has actually been pitching very well.

pitt: small price at home, Correia is pretty good and I think Diamond is slightly overvalued.

Mets; Santana should outpitch hunter, Mets bats get it done, dont know how sometimes but they do. clutch hitting
hunter 8 era on road, santana 1.3 @ home.. johan is automatic at home and not good on road.

cubs/cws under: wood is slightly underrated, his stats are a little inflated. his whip is servcable, peavy is ace caliber. they scored a lot of runs yesterday, they came back to earth today

Hard not to like over in cleveland..

used up BPs, hot bats. two baaaad pitchers.

RE: MLB Tuesday
gyne: You're not feeling the STL/DET under? Two great pitchers there, lineups aren't exactly lighting it up.

RE: MLB Tuesday
I'm looking at a 1-3 night. After going 11-4 two weeks ago, 7-4 last week, and beginning 2-0 this week, I was getting very confident. This will be a blow, but I'll be okay. Damn you Cards.
