MLB Handicapping Websites Database
So I'm new to baseball handicapping, trying to learn on the fly and soak up whatever information I can.

Wanted to put together a handicapping database of different websites and tools that you guys like to use when putting your card together. Here's what I've got so far.

http://www.sbrodds.com - an obvious one, for game lines/odds

http://www.parkfactors.com - current weather and up-to-date park factors

http://www.baseballpress.com/lineup.php - daily line-ups and pitching matchups

http://stats.sportsbettingstats.com/MLB/matchups.aspx - matchup breakdowns. I use this site a ton during NHL season, they have great matchup breakdowns. right now it's not overly useful because there isn't much data, but I could see this being really helpful within a month or two.

http://www.baseball-reference.com - tons and tons of stats

http://www.fangraphs.com - great articles and more stats

Any others? What do you guys like to use?

I'd love to find a site that does baseball matchups with specific lineup breakdowns for hitters (i.e. who bats left/right handed, how they fair vs. LHP/RHP, etc). If anyone knows a site like this please post it!

Great thread idea. I'll add this one...

http://presspass.mlb.com/teamlist.php

Game notes for all 30 teams. Problem is, they haven't done a great job of keeping it updated through the early part of the season.

Never seen that park factor site before. Just checked it out and will definitely be adding it to the bookmarks menu.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I like the StatFox matchup previews. I get to them via Scoresandodds.com

Does anybody have any idea how to get Umpire assignments prior right before the game when the lineups are posted?

I thought covers.com had umpire assignments in their matchup sections.

RE: MLB Handicapping Websites Database
Adding a couple other sites to this database:

http://raregamblinginfo.blogspot.ca/

From my good friend @AJsPlays on twitter, he runs a get sports betting blog with some rare stats you can't find elsewhere. for MLB, he has Team rankings vs. LHP & RHP, detailed stats/records on Umpires from 1999-2011, and he keeps the site updated regularly with more info and umpire assignments as they become available. He also posts a daily play on twitter as well.

Obviously there's already a big thread on this one, but this is quickly becoming one of my new favourites so I thought I'd add it to the list.

Did he personally compile the stats for the umps? Or just use covers database? I didn't look in depth, but I think home/road splits would be good for umps, too.

Example: How do home teams fare with Doug Eddings behind the plate. Something like that.

Thanks Timmy

SkyBlues - I used Covers database. I was sick of clicking on link after link after link there so I compiled it all and put it on one page. I don't know when, but I'll add home/road one of these days.

Haven't stumbled on a better site for ballpark weather and wind information. Check it out.
