ITG bracket

I told myself that I wasn't going to fill out any brackets this year or play any fantasy sports. I'm sticking to my guns on the fantasy sports but the guys at work are hounding me about the bracket so I think I'm gonna fold.

The thing is, I still don't want to take the time, and I also don't want to throw money at something that I put no effort in.

So I put this out on twitter and I will post it here as well.

Who would be willing to fill out my bracket for me? I will pay the buy-in and if the bracket wins I will split it with you 50/50.

Anyone interested?

Damn, with those stats I might need to do 2 brackets. 1 will be the average joe bracket and then you can fill out the stone cold killer bracket.

Looking at 06-09, I would've thought you were a log5 disciple

So I drew a name and then right after I posted the winner I realized that I missed 6 guys. I decided to just buy 2 brackets and draw again. There were 24 total.

The 2 winners were @BadBeatDan & @HookEmNWhoDey (on twitter)

I know @HookEmNWhoDey is here on the forum and I am pretty sure @BadBeatDan is as well.

If so, and both of you read this, then reply to me on here as I will post the rest of the instructions through the forum.

I know that BBD has a Notre Dame twitter default picture and HookEm has a default Texas Longhorn twitter picture so I'm not holding my breath on a winning bracket.

Just kidding guys.

Get back to me so I can tell you whats next.

@BadBeatDan's bracket has Kentucky, Missouri, Ohio St, & UNC in the Final 4 with UNC beating Missouri.

@HookEmNWhoDey has Kentucky, Marquette, Ohio St, & UNC in the Final 4 with Kentucky beating Ohio St.

There ended up being 12 brackets.

1st place gets $220
2nd place gets $20

So if one of these cats wins 1st I'll send them $180.
($220 - the total entry fee for both brackets.)

Both guys are tied for 4th place.

1st place is a lady named Tammy who has only missed 1 game.

She has allegedly never seen a college basketball game in her life. In person or on TV.

The person who usually wins the office pool is a woman who has never seen a game before and makes her picks based on the prettier uniforms or cuddlier mascot.

Picking brackets really is a free-for-all every year. Good Luck to you tho, it's always nice to have the bragging rights around the water cooler.

Hook 'Em is making some noise. Technically in 3rd place.

He is one point off the lead. Two guys are tied for 1st but one of them is hanging on by a thread.

Bad Beat Dan is 5th place in points and in 7th place as 2 people are also tied for 4th. He does however still have plenty of teams with life and should make a late run.

I am happy enough with their current performances to say that I should have done this contest with a 75 (ITG) / 25 (Bracket expert) cut in the winnings.

Word has gotten out that I did not fill out my own bracket and I am catching a bit of flack for bringing in a ringer. I love it.
