The other day I put it out there that I was interested in starting a sports betting team and asked who might be interested in being a part of it.

Over 30 guys have thrown there hat in the ring. The whole thing is in the process of some email back and forth right now but it will hopefully get rolling by next week.

It has occurred to me that tracking all of this might become quite the undertaking. I will post everything at ITGlife.com with my thread over in the tout zone being a back up.

I wanted to see who might be interested in helping me out with the tracking aspect of everything. I would prefer it not be one of the guys making picks as I want them to have their main focus on doing just that.

I will be able to handle the bulk but if something comes up I would like for everything to be as stream line as possible rather than having to be caught up.

Maybe you can have people set up accounts with WagerMinds. Ask them on Twitter if they can group accounts for tracking purposes.

Interesting Idea but does Wager Minds also do tracking for sports like soccer and golf? I have seen a lot of interest already for guys wanting to make picks in both.

Not sure. You'd have to ask them. Last I looked around, it didn't look like they tracked 1st/2nd half bets. But I didn't look that hard.

My suggestion to you would be this, if you have a bunch of guys asking to be part of the team that don't have a ton of experience, don't shoo them away. Ask them if they'd be willing to stick on as readers / information gatherers, until someone needs to be replaced. If you could get a group of guys willing to start at the bottom and be data / news feeders to the cappers, it'd go along way towards helping your team be successful. It's a cool idea, like what Philly does with the "zoo". Good luck.

I'd like to echo Mr luckys offer. I'd like to help out with tracking and/ or keeping stats on the bettors. Or in any other way possible.

I couldn't gauge whether or not you were truly interested. After I posted the format I didn't hear anything else back from you. I definitely would like to have you on board. What is your email address so I can put you on the list.

One of the guys is not going to be very active until FB season so he has volunteered to help out with all of the tracking. Thanks for your input Mount. I will probably do exactly this in some sort of format.
