Highdea of the Day
Just something fun for those that are always trying to think of the next 'project'. Please share if you have one. I'll start it off... Everyone builds their models to win. Build one to lose, and fade it.

RE: Highdea of the Day
Why don't they sell Bloody Mary mix in 1-2 serving mixes? It seems so wasteful to buy a big bottle just to have most of it go to waste. I enjoy a bloody mary once in a while, but not enough to buy the whole damn bottle.
I could just make my own mix with cans of tomato juice, but that seems like a hassle too. Life if hard.

RE: Highdea of the Day
Why don't they sell liquor in pre-poured shots? Why not make a 10-pack of plastic shot glasses that are pre-sealed with the liquor inside? It would be like those plastic cups of juice with the aluminum foil on the top, except it would be vodka, or rum, or bourbon inside. They when you have a party, you just put out all of the pre-poured shots, and you don't have to keep washing/re-using your own shot glasses all night. Or, if you get home from a long day of work, and just want a quick shot of whiskey, just pop the top on a cup and be done with it; no cleanup, straight into the trash.

The can versions are a necessity when golfing in hot weather. The more the merrier.

Apparently it's very flavorful for use in cooking with sauces. Follow me: @skatingtripods |

I didn't see what had been added here. This has made my day. And it just started.
Also, it's not a highdea since it's a product, but it seems a lot of us here don't have big households. If you enjoy vegetables, they make steam bags for individual servings for the microwave. They're fuckin awesome. Find me here. |

RE: Highdea of the Day
I've always wanted to build a 2 lane bowling alley on the side of my house. It would be sweet to just have your own little bowling alley with a lounge, some TV's. I have even checked into prices and things for this project.
I even have the perfect spot for it on end of my house. It will be connected directly to my man room and will have an external entry and exit so people can just come to the bowling alley only. My 3 yr old daughter and I are ready to break ground on this project, but the wife is a big stumbling block at the moment. I might even have to add a virtual archery range and golf simulator. Then you could even step out back and shoot a real animal. I probably should have just made a thread about this. I have plenty more to add onto this idea. Twitter:@louiemdj |

RE: Highdea of the Day
The greatest idea I had while under the influence of the green stuff was 2 dishwashers. For some reason I was high and unloading the dishwasher and decided that it was fucking pointless to take them out of the dishwasher to put them in cabinets only to take them out again and put them back in the damn dishwasher. So my idea was a clean dishwasher and a dirty dishwasher. You take the shit from the clean one and put it in the dirty one. When the dirty one is full you run it and that becomes the clean one. That way you don't have to put everything back in the cabinets. All kinds of extra cabinet space. It has some kinks to work out still (such as having undercounter space for 2) but one day my dream is to be lazy enough to implement this in my household.

And you can close the cabinet off that has dirty dishes in it and start the cycle. Nobody likes to reach under the counter for dishes anyways, so it takes care of both inconveniences! Find me here. |
