Personally, I like Indiana.

What has the Heat shown this series to think they're going to pull it out?

They are the Heat... Wade and Lebron are still 2 of Top 5 players in the league despite the past two games...

RE: Heat, will they be victorious in a must win game 4?
The Heat don't have the basketball IQ to win it all. Lebron and Wade are two of the most exceptional individual players in the world. Perhaps of all-time. But they don't play like a team offensively. Great teams play a substantial amount of their offensive game away from the ball. The Heat would be well served watching some film of the Spurs, the Triangle Offense of MJ's Bulls, or just about any European squad. LBJ has never been forced to play team offense growing up... and it shows.

Will they beat the Pacers. Yes. I think they will in 7. But they will not beat OKC or San Antonio in the Finals. Take it to the bank.

I meant to post this on here telling you guys to take it. I bet pacers in 6 at 55-1 after game 1. They play team ball and without bosh it was obvious Hibbert was going to dominate. The only thing I am worried about in this future is the pacers in 5 as they go up 3-1 Miami may just fold and throw in the towel. I do not see the pacers losing this series

Pacers are still +115 to win the series. I think that's a play. They should be the favorites to win at this point.

If the Heat go down 3-1, I cannot see them throwing in the towel. I can see why'd you'd say that, since LBJ openly stated that the season wouldn't be a total loss without a championship. But they still HATE to lose.

I'm not ready to give up on them yet. Still think they'll get by the Pacers. Honestly though, who is going to stop the Spurs?

I honestly don't see anyone beating the spurs but that's why they are the favorites. It's a joke the pacers aren't favored to win the series. Playing them at +115 and am continuing to ride them this series for various reasons.

A Game Four in a series that's at 2-1 is not a must win.

Well, if we're getting technical, there's no such thing as a must-win until your opponent has three wins in the series.

But if the Heat go down 3-1, they ain't winning this series.

I have no data to back this up because I'm not sure if it's available, but I like to bet against teams that are in "must win" games. It's the most played shit ever.

Heading into Game 6, the Pacers will be in a real Must Win situation.

You got that one wrong the pacers will be up 3-2 so the heat will be in the must win spot

RE: Heat, will they be victorious in a must win game 4?
Pacers already matched up well with the heat before Bosh injury and now that he's out the pacers front court will win them this series.

Paul George is one of the best defenders in the league and will continue to give wade fits and granger can defend Lebron for what is in the realm of defending him but as wade and Lebron beat their man to the rim they have to meet Hibbert who alters their shots. They no longer can kick it out to a big man for a reliable jumper.

Team ball > 2 superstars

Chalmers is the x factor and if they heat start knocking down 3s is the only way I see them winning this series.

Pacers in 6

RE: Heat, will they be victorious in a must win game 4?
I agree the Bosh factor is the key. This and the Celtics series was really key for him to be in. It doesn't help that Wade looks awful lately.

The only way the Heat come out of this series is either Bosh returning or Lebron going to his Cleveland days vs the Pistons and going off. I have been waiting for him to get selfish and he doesnt.

Also wonder where that low post game Lebron was working on early in the regular season went?

As well as Chalmers played in game 3, I also think that its a bad fit into the lineup when the ball is in Wade or Lebron's hand for the majority of the time.

It should be Lebron posting his defender with Wade bringing it up and slashing and then having 2 3 pointer specialists out there and one big man. That would be a tough offense to stop, but they have to have Haslem/Anthony/Turiaf out there on the defensive end.

RE: Heat, will they be victorious in a must win game 4?
I took some Pacers +2

Wade and James forced to play 40+ mins, get tired late
Indy deep team that plays 10 guys
    Wade looks injured
    LeBron's 2nd half and 4th QTR disappearances
    No Bosh
    Indy no injuries, same rotation.
    Mia weak supporting cast
    Home court and rowdy crowd
    Pressure on Miami
    Better coach
Spolestra not getting along with Wade
Miami has no one to effectively guard Hibbert

LeBron might wake up and win this game on his own, but Indy has figured out that if you force him and Wade to take jump shots it makes them less effective.

I'll take Indy and the two points at home..

RE: Heat, will they be victorious in a must win game 4?
I watched from about the 2:00 mark of the second quarter on today, and that was one of the most impressive performances I've seen from a duo in a long, long time.

The answer to the question is yes. LeBron and D-Wade are good enough to win this series on their own.

But they both have to be "on" for almost the entire game, and they MUST attack the basket. Their offense goes in lulls when they settle for jump shots.

The question is, "Will they get tired in games 5, 6 or 7? When you get tired, you settle for jump shots. If they settle for jump shots, they'll lose.

All that said, I think it's Heat in 7.
