Heat/Pacers Series (Odds)
For some reason, the odds on the Heat/Pacers series just aren't making sense to me. Maybe someone can explain it.

At 5Dimes, the following props are offered:

Indiana wins series 4-2 | +685
Not Indiana in 6 games | -970

Miami wins series 4-2 | +125
Not Miami in 6 games | -145

IND/MIA Series ends in 6 games | -128
IND/MIA Series won't end in 6 games | +108

To me... it seems as if the individual odds are suggesting that the series will NOT end in six games. In fact, it's almost 1-to-10 that the Pacers don't win in six, and 1-to-1.5 that the Heat don't.

But, it's also 1-to-1.28 that the series DOES end in six games, which doesn't make sense to me. Hoping someone can explain this a little better.

RE: Heat/Pacers Series (Odds)
What are the odds of Miami winning in seven?

Basically, out of the four options (Ind in 6, Ind in 7, Mia in 6 or Mia in 7), which is considered the "favorite" at 5Dimes?

RE: Heat/Pacers Series (Odds)
I guess that makes more sense then. The favorite is for Miami to win in 6. The difference for Indiana winning in 6 or 7 is hardly noticeable, so it'd follow that the overall favorite would be for the series to end in 6 games.

...... I think. LOL

RE: Heat/Pacers Series (Odds)
Yeah. I was under the assumption that because Miami is "favored" to win in 6 games, that the line for Miami to win the Series 4-2 would be -xxx, and the line for Miami not to win 4-2 would be +xxx.

RE: Heat/Pacers Series (Odds)
its all about the parlay.. They want you to make less money than parlaying heat twice in a row.
