Golden Nugget college football Games of the Year released today
Point spreads for 111 college football games hit the board today at 10 a.m. Las Vegas time. There were 104 games last year, and 45 of them involved an SEC team.

So, yeah, expect to see plenty of SEC games.

Who are your 'play on' teams in 2012?

RE: Golden Nugget college football Games of the Year released today
Gimme USC -7.5 at Stanford all day long. Know I'm paying over a key number on the road, but that's a primetime game where USC can make a statement to the East Coast.

Think Notre Dame smokes Miami in the game at Soldier Field. 9.5 seems a little low there. Gonna buy Notre Dame against Stanford at -5 too. I might be undervaluing Stanford, but they really did lose a lot of offense in Luck and Fleener.

Not sure about Notre Dame favored over Michigan, even in South Bend. I know they had them beat last season, so it's a revenge spot.

Lots of love for Texas in those numbers. Not sure I get it. I'd sell Texas until they prove otherwise.

Gimme SC -5 over Missouri. SC always has great speed on the ends to counteract mobile QBs. Jadevon Clowney's coming out party should be this year and it'll start with that game.

Clemson -2 over Auburn? Wow. That's it? I think that's a terrible number. Neutral site, but you know Clemson wants to immediately put the Orange Bowl shellacking behind them.

Think I like Pitt +5 in that 9/6 game against Cincy. Think that number's a little bit high.

Think I'll take TCU +9 on 10/26 against Oklahoma State. Would like it a lot more if it got up to 11.

Clearly, TTB, you're far higher on Nebraska than I am. I love, love, love that OSU -1 number against Nebraska.

I agree on Clemson & Tennessee. Not a big believer in MSU without Cousins and their top two WR.

Yea, think Nebraska is just in good spots there.. I don't think they are awesome, but both of those games are night games in Lincoln..

Only laying a FG to Wisky (line is probably right, maybe -4) and being a home dog to UM (week after UM/MSU, huge revenge) just seems like good spots.. Of course things could change as we're only in June

Also, not in love with UM this year and anything over 3 in the MSU/UM game is going to be a play on the dog for sure

If I had a first born, I'd bet it on USC -21 vs. Syracuse. It's on a neutral field. Worst case scenario, I'd probably get to buy out at Cuse +24 for a middle opp and lose the juice. Don't see any way that line goes down and also feel quite confident that they'll be able to cover the three TD spread.

I think I'd take Utah catching 16 at home (on a Thursday night) against USC. Just seems like way, way too many there. USC will probably need to run the table, and that's one of their biggest possibly sneaky hiccups.

RE: Golden Nugget college football Games of the Year released today
This opinion may be biased, but I like Auburn -3.5 vs Texas A&M.

I fully expect Auburn to be a team that improves a ton this year on defense, especially as the year goes on and they get more accustomed to Coach BVG's scheme.

Auburn will be coming off two SEC road games that they should win @ Ole Miss and @ Vandy. That means they should be at a point in the season where they've built a little momentum and are looking for a big home win.

Texas A&M host LSU the week before they head to the plains. I imagine that will be a game that A&M puts a lot of emotion into, not just during the game but leading up to it as well. LSU should go in there and beat them up a little bit, which will obviously help Auburn. This will also be the first tough SEC road game for the Aggies, since their only SEC road game before that is Ole Piss.

Anyway, by the time this game rolls around, I think we'll see this as a great situational spot for an improving Auburn team against an A&M team that was beat up the week before by LSU.

Thoughts?
