We use BetOnline, BMaker, and 5Dimes - all are easy with a Visa Card and have cashed out and received either wire transfers or checks from all three without a large hassle.

What sites you guys like Kind of just depends what you're looking for, and how much you plan to bet. Bodog, now known as bovada is one of the easiest for smaller players. I think their minimum withdrawal amount is only $20. I've never had any hassles with them. They're good for futures and underdogs. My biggest gripe has been the length of time it takes them to set lines. BetOnline is my personal book of choice. Lines are always out fast and usually have good numbers. Minimum withdrawal there is 500 by check. I think Western Union is $100 minimum. Others use 5dimes. I have no personal experience with the book, so I can't comment. |

RE: Ever get screwed by a bookie
Are there any withdrawal methods that are one hundred percent free? Or is there always some sort of fee involved?

Some books (maybe all, I don't have a wide range of experience) will offer you one free withdraw per 30 day period, with any additional bringing a charge. |

It all depends on the book and the time of year and the payment processing situation. Some books will give out one free payout per month; others will process free payouts on Mondays; some will offer free payouts using a certain method; so on and so on. I could try to act like I know which book does what, but I don't. It's constantly changing. The best way to go about it is to ask the book you belong to, or the one you plan on joining, what their payout structure is like. On Twitter: @beyondthebets |

RE: Ever get screwed by a bookie
I have an opposite story of getting screwed by a bookie. I went to collect my money this week, and my bookie gave me a Christmas present. It really took me by surprise, but was appreciated nonetheless.
This is what he gave me, which I am drinking right now. Let's go under 41 in the NFL game tonight. ![]() The 4 bottles were airplane size, but still. Twitter:@louiemdj |

I know a local that uses a website with a different name, but your screenshot looked similar. I tried an old log-in that a buddy of mine had, and his account pulled up on this wagergator site. Interesting. I guess these shops are just changing the name and look of the main page, but the inside is all the same. |

RE: Ever get screwed by a bookie
This company wagergater might sell pay per head services. Meaning that a local book uses a sportsbooks software on a contract basis.
So the server and software you are hitting could well be coming from the same source. What they also have the ability to do, is use a unique domain name (whatever your local uses and it redirects to the same site. (wagergater.com) You would be using the same interface that gmen showed. @cd99999 |

RE: Ever get screwed by a bookie
This morning, my local, who basically just grabs lines off the computer, waited and waited to send lines out so that NE would be -7.5, and around the same time, KC moved to -3, and he won't honor that for the guys that want OAK. Good for me, as I like KC and getting it under 3 is great, but it's pretty bush to change one and not the other imo.
