Taking the Stony Brook/UCLA U9.5 -105

UCLA pitching has been stellar all year (and even more so recently) and Stony Brook's pitching has been hot. Both teams can score, but don't on a regular basis. I expect Stony Brook to keep it close, but will not give juice. Expect a 4-2 type of game.

Good luck!

Needless to say a 5-run 1st kills almost all chances of an under hitting Evil Shake

Stoney Brook +450! I'm 1-1 backing this team but they are always so underpriced, tough to pass up. Definitely putting a couple bucks on this.

RE: CWS
After the first game, I couldn't help but think "Welcome to the big-leagues, Stony Brook."

RE: CWS
This is very true. However, (I know this has been overplayed) they outplayed a very solid LSU team in Alec Box all three games. The attendance for one of those games was more than the entire season attendance for SB and everyone of those fans were cheering, loudly, against this team.

They ran into a very very good UCLA team. FSU is not as good as UCLA, though admittedly better than LSU. +200, maybe not but at +450, everything has a price. Seems like books are begging for SB money.

For what it's worth, I'm only risking to win one unit.

RE: CWS
Definitely not doubting SB's ability. Takes a lot to beat LSU the way they did. Just going by what I saw in the first game, which isn't really the biggest sample size, that's for sure.
