Considering an Experiment
By my calculations, if someone with $50 could bet odds of 1.05 100 times in a row, risking their entire $50 plus what the previous bet(s) won, if they were to get 100 1.05 odds favorites correct in a row, they would win $6,575.
If this won, you would end up with 131.5 times the money you started with. Just to give you another scenario, if you were to hit 200 in a row, you would be at $864,629 (of course, I doubt you could place bets with that sort of money). With college basketball (this is the sport where you would find the majority of these sort of odds) already starting to wind down, I think while there is still time to get a 50 or so in a row, I will try something like this before having to move on to other odds. Do consider, that while it is possible, it is very, very, very hard to miss a bet with odds of around 1.05. Is this a futile idea, or is there some promise in this? |

Futile or not, I want to watch.
