Love Oregon Over 10 wins because I don't see them only winning 9. Could end in a push, but at -130, the juice isn't all that bad to take a stab at 11 wins. Not a best bet, though.

Arkansas under. Pertino, although a huge scumbag was also a great coach. Will not rebound, qb will Brian Brohm 2.0.

TCU under 8.5. I think that's a 7-5 or 8-4 team in their first season in the Big 12.

ND under 8.5. I had to pay -210 juice on that. Unreal schedule for them with road games at Mich St, Oklahoma, and USC. They also play Navy in Ireland to start the season, and have Mich at home. Still waiting on a qb to step up.

Hate the price, but completely agree that ND under 8.5 should be a winner.

Then again, if you're at 5Dimes (they have BCS Bowl odds out), picking Notre Dame to NOT appear in a BCS Bowl at roughly the same odds might be a better bet.

They'd likely need a 10-2 season to make one.

RE: College Football Season Wins: Who is your best bet?
not listed here, but Kentucky UNDER 5.5. I would bet this up to -250 juice as i think its a lock. No idea if a true freshman, a redshirt freshman, or a redshirt senior will be the starting QB and no offensive weapons. A depleted offensive line will KILL them in SEC play and UK also plays Louisville at Louisville week 1, so I'm not sure how it would be possible to get to 6 wins for them. Best two defensive players from last year are now in the NFL, so a lot of youth and inexperience will make up the defensive side of the ball this year.

Michigan Under 9

Too tough a schedule..

vs Bama
@ND-huge revenge game from LY for Irish
@Neb- night game, week after MSU game
@OSU- bowl ban, last game of season for Buckeyes
MSU- lost 4 straight

Best case, can see 2-3 there- which puts them at 9-3 and a push.. also have Air Force, Iowa and at Purdue to deal with..

8-4 sounds about right.

This was my play too. I'm laying on this one big. They have 3 wins that they should get (Kent, Western KY, and Samford) then they would beat Louisville, Vandy, and Tenn, and I cannot see any possible way that they beat those 3. The other games, they have no chance.

Since the UK line seems to be gone (hope you got on it last week) I have to say I love the Ole Miss U5.5. Unfortunately it was -320 juice last time I saw but do you really see this team making a bowl?

RE: College Football Season Wins: Who is your best bet?
the only reason UK and Ole Miss are getting love at 5.5 is because they are in the SEC... but the fact is that being in the SEC only hurts them, and the juice shows it. wouldn't be a terrible parlay UK/Ole Miss under if your book allows it.

Gotta love a Michigan State fan roaming the forum telling us how MSU to win the B1G has the best value and the Michigan under is the best season win total...

I do like the over, cant see them losing 4 with a senior qb and a lot of starters back in a down year in the Big 10. They have beat NDthe last 3 years and the qb is a big mismatch in favor of Mich. I played Mich +3 at ND big and Mich +16.5 vs Bama big also. Sucks as I despise Michigan but they are turning the corner fast in Ann Arbor.

RE: College Football Season Wins: Who is your best bet?
Nothing to really like a lot but Iowa O 7.5 +120 is the best value I see

They can start 5-0 and finish with 9 or 10 wins. They have little expectation this year and that's a time to surprise. Bringing back SR QB Vanderberg with experience helps a lot.

The have 3 tough games @Mich, @MSU, Neb. The rest is pretty easy. Even if they lose all 3 of those, they have 1 slip up to spare with games like @IU, @NW, PSU, Purdue, ISU.

I see LVH has TCU at 7.5. That's a much more accurate line IMO.
