He has good weeks doing that but he gets blown up fast and hard especially in mlb. The guy who has Chelsea is serious fade material. No lie he is like 2-10 in nba playoffs. (on spurs today)

RE: Chelsea anyone?
Jimmy, you (and others) called it. Bayern is getting chance after chance. Chelsea isn't even attacking. 31 mins into this game and Chelsea has zero chances, or it at least feels like zero chances. Are Chelsea trying to play for penalty kicks??
I'm on Chelsea ml but also took draw. |

RE: Chelsea anyone?
You might get it. The funny thing is Gomez IS a finisher. I have never seen him miss 3 chances like that.
I would say a really realistic score for the first half should have 1-0 or 2-0 Bayern but Chelsea is surviving. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() http://www.twitter.com/jimmysingh9 |

Honestly, I bet Chelsea is satisfied with the way things are going. Avoided a first half goal and played the style they were comfortable with. Nobody said Chelsea would go on the attack. Free kick was awful, but aside from that, they know they can counter quickly and get near the box. Still... Bayern -- or Gomez, for that matter -- should have netted two goals. Possible three.

yeah anything can happen.
That exact scenario killed me for any profit. after 80 mins, I wanted a 0-0 draw and then Bayern scored so I was praying for a cheap second and then Drogba scores for 1-1. my ML bet is the only thing that keeps this from a bloodbath ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() http://www.twitter.com/jimmysingh9 |

RE: Chelsea anyone?
Sorry about that Jimmy. That does suck. I took Chelsea moneline which is a loss, and I did a very small parlay on the draw and the Giants in baseball. I suppose I should feel VERY lucky with the draw, and I kind of do...but now I'm regretting not taking Chelsea to win the trophy so I would at least still have something on this game. What a crazy, crazy game. Chelsea has absolutely no business having a chance to win this, but that's kind of been their m.o. in this Champions League.

RE: Chelsea anyone?
can't believe Chelsea got it done. congrats to their players minus John Terry who is a douche and shouldn't win anything lol.
They showed poise and determination like the Greece squad that won Euro 2004. I am ok losing this game. I know it was the right side and this happens in sports all the time. I was shocked that they missed that many chances, usually a couple bad bounces but germans are known as being poised and cool under pressure but some of their players(i know they arent all german) wilt near the goal. congrats to any guys that cashed their ticket ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() http://www.twitter.com/jimmysingh9 |

What do you think about Robben not taking a PK? He completely blew it in Overtime with the miss, but he should have the mental ability to shake that off. He's been around long enough. I think it was a mistake not having him in the first 5. As for Chelsea, Drogba was the obvious MVP (again, he's a monster), but Ashley Cole is a major reason why Bayern didn't win in regulation. He played one of his best games.

RE: Chelsea anyone?
Drogba has been huge, but I feel it weird to call him MVP when in the games, he did absolutely nothing except for a couple minutes in which he finishes. but then I guess that's what you can call clutch and MVP so no beefs there.
The thing about Robben is that he has all the skill in the world but he is so fragile, the smallest of things gets him off his game. He has that glass house european mentality, he isn't tough whatsoever. If you were to were to see the stats and the flow of that game and said Bayern didnt win around 4-1, I would have been shocked. Just one of those runs like Greece where it happened but you really cannot explain it ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() http://www.twitter.com/jimmysingh9 |

I used the term MVP because without him, they don't even end up in overtime. Lucky for him, Robben failed to convert the PK. If he did, Drogba's day would have ended on an awful note.

RE: Chelsea anyone?
I'd say man of the match was one of Cole or Cech...Don't think it is fair to give it to an offensive player when the gameplan was to defend. Drogba didn't do enough for MOTM in my eyes.
Robben is a weak mental player, I wouldn't even have been surprised is Heyneckes told him not to go take another one...He fades away in big games (WC Final, yesterday), and was the worst player on the field yesterday, in my opinion. Couldn't get his ego out of the frame when he should never be the one taking that PK, he's just too cocky/egotistical to leave it for a teammate. For those who don't know, it is always a huge advantage for a GK to face a penalty from a teammate, Robben was at Chelsea for a while, Cech had probably seen this 100x in training. He did fuck all throughout the game too, such an overrated player, can't even use his right foot. Follow me on Twitter @GrandaddyCrunk...I post free picks there. |

He was involved or at least started nearly every single attack that Bayern had. He controlled the midfield, just missed his opportunities. Gomez was far worse. He should have scored at least twice had he not let his nerves get to him. Overall, it was just poor finishing. I get what you're saying, though. He definitely didn't play well enough to receive praise. But without him, they would have been forced to rely on Ribery, who might be my least favorite player (ever), starting the attacks from the outside.

He did fuck all throughout the game too, such an overrated player, can't even use his right foot. Gomez is so overrated. He's made to be one of the top strikers in all of Europe, fact is he gets about 10 chances a game to score and takes 1 or 2 of them. Yesterday he only got 2, 3, maybe 4 chances and couldn't get one to go. I wasn't surprised that he screwed them up, he tries to do more with the ball than he should/is capable of. His touch is so poor and yet he tries to Cruyff turn around in the box like he's Messi. He's a decent hold up player, and good in the air, but he is a poor finisher and relies very much on streaks of form. People say he was the big flop yesterday though, maybe, but the thing is that's all based on the media hyping him up to be better than he is, and then of course people's expectations were higher than they should be. Robben should definitely have started, but he needs a talking to, too many times yesterday he tried the cut in on the left foot and shoot, I don't think he got a single one even near the goal. As a player you can kind of tell when you're not having a good day and at that point you should look to involve your teammates more in the game. He should definitely start just because he is a big name player, as you can see with Bertrand starting out on the left, di Matteo loaded up his left side with defensive players, even Mikel played on the left side of the CM combo. But when you don't have it, let your teammates help you out. Too big of an ego. Dislike Ribery as well haha, but he is class to be fair.
