[Beyond the Bets]

I'll hold regular contests throughout the season and will be putting them all in this thread, so be sure to check them out on occasion. The prizes will be modest, but enough to keep your interest.

Also, the contests will be free, so it's sort of a no-lose situation for you.

TODAY'S CONTEST

Hit an 8-team parlay, win $165.

Rules:

1. You must play 7 MLB games tonight, and 1 NFL game later in the week. You can take money lines or run lines or over/unders. However, you must choose eight different games. (i.e., you can't take a side and a total within the same game.)
2. All MLB selections must be -120 or less.
3. Use current lines from BetOnline.com.
4. If two or more people win, we'll hold a "pick off," in which you make one play per day head-to-head. (I'll probably feel bad for whoever takes second, so you'll probably win something anyway. )
5. Deadline to enter: 7 p.m. ET.
6. Post your picks in this thread.
