Braves -365 to win series over Astros..

Braves are -365 to win series.. I've seen worse -365 propositions before.

Anyone else thinking about betting this?

I'd rather lay the -280 tonight than bet -365 for the series.

if they lose today then you lose money. its easy to say this or that after the game.

But I said it BEFORE the game!

Seriously, though, most would ONLY make the series bet if they felt the Braves had a substantial Game 1 advantage. If you didn't think the Braves would win Game 1, you'd probably never bet the Braves for the series.

So, why not just bet them to win Game 1? You're laying far less juice. And besides, if the Braves DID lose Game 1 - the ultimate worst-case scenario - sweeping Games 2 and 3 is probably closer to a 50-50 proposition than you might think.

A 50/50 proposition on a -365 bet probably won't get it done over the long haul.

So, while I see your point ("Games 2 and 3 are my backup just in case the Braves lose Game 1"), in that scenario, there is absolutely no value there if/when that does occur. Nobody would lay -365 on the Braves to win Games 2 AND 3.
