BOS/PHI
Anyone betting this series? 76ers +200, Celtics -230.

Celtics seem a bit high.

RE: BOS/PHI
What do you think happens in Game 1?

Series prices are always tricky for me. Generally speaking, if I like the dog in the series, I will generally hope they drop the first game and then swoop in at a much better price prior to Game 2.

The Sixers are +200 to win Game 1. That's what the series price is.

So, if you like the Sixers to win the series at +200—but only think they'll have a realistic shot at winning the series if they win Game 1—then why not just bet them at +200 to win Game 1? I'm not trying to tell you what to think, nor do I know what your thought process is.

But having an idea of how you think the series will play out always helps when trying to determine bet timing, because NBA series prices are (obviously) extremely volatile.

Not betting the series, but I almost think you could get better value betting the games individually.. if you like Philadelphia.

But their only chance in winning the series would be to speed the game up to an uncontrollable pace. They don't have the talent to beat the Celtics in a half-court game.
